I love the thickness of the fabric on these pillow cases. Very sturdy. I washed them before using them and they held their shape. The only reason I couldn’t give them 5 stars is because they come out of the dryer VERY wrinkled. That’s to be expected with 100% cotton but I couldn’t get the wrinkles completely out even at my iron’s highest steam setting. They are very comfortable, though. Some reviewers have mentioned they’re not very soft but those must be people who like the satin sheet feel. I do not (gross!!!). They are plenty soft. ... show more

I have washed my cases 3 times and the cases are holding their color (medium blue) with no pulled threads. Depending upon how picky you are, you may want to iron them, but I don't. They are a slightly different shade of gold than the sheet set but otherwise they are perfect. They are smooth and soft and the gold color is very soothing. They seem to be well made and durable.
