We really liked this shell and used it for my son's Halloween costume this year, paired with his Ninja Turtle outfit! Fit and Comfort: My son is a tall 7-year-old, and it fit him perfectly because the straps are easily extendable. It was very comfortable and not heavy at all, so he was able to wear it all night without any complaints. Look and Fun: It looks great and adds a ton of fun, especially with the swords that slide right into it! The one minor drawback is that it was difficult for him to put the swords back into the holster by himself over his shoulder. Value: It is a little on the expensive side, but I still think it's a good value since he can continue to play dress-up with it and keep using it for years to come. My 3 year old is obsessed with TMNT. He has been playing ninja turtles for quite some time and will wear his TMNT pajamas and pretend to be Raphael his favorite of the bunch. I happened upon this awesome costume by chance. I think I paid under 20 bucks. I was on the fence due to the other reviews saying that it was damaged on arrival, or that it was too small or too big yadda yadda yadda. Im glad I didn't listen. He is so obsessed with this turtle shell and costume. He tries to sleep in it constantly. It's so awesome to get to see him pletend to be a ninja turtle with his little shell, and eye mask. My 5 year old has the Michaelangelo version and they beat the crap out of these things. Ive been pleasantly surprised at the durability of the shells. If you have a little TMNT wannabe out there I highly recommend this product. It's under 20 bucks, and is full of fun and adventure for your little Ninja's out there. ... show more

They clearly gave me a costume that was previously used. It was dirty, no instructions on how to put the pieces together, and the overall quality of this toy is very poor.
