  • Definitely fun for young men.
Used this with a group already. Worked great with a group of 18 yr olds! Lots of laughter and fun. Helps people get out of their shells. See more personality and thought processes. Not just in how they explain things but also why they vote.

  • Great update to a game that was already great
I got the first edition of Superfight about a decade ago and it was an instant hit with both my friends and my kids. I subsequently picked up a bunch of the expansions as they were released and they extended the life of the game. Grim Rabbit has upped the fun with Superfight 2nd Edition. Now, the game is still the same game where you select a fighter and location from three that you drew. Then a random card is drawn and added to your fighter. Each player then proceeds to argue their case on why their fighter would win in a battle. Once you have your warriors selected and start the battle, the people watching are in for some serious laughter. We had a battle where Kanye West had control of magnetism but hadn't slept in 3 days was fighting an Apache Warrior armed with ghost pepper spray who was 101 feet tall! The group of us were in hysterics laughing at our friends trying to come up with their defenses! Once the arguments have been done, the other players judge and decide who won the match. The rules are only four pages long and three alternative ways to play. It is VERY easy to learn/teach and get to the table. The second edition has some of the same cards as the first but there are plenty of new ones. It isn't compatible with the first edition as the black cards have streamlined so you only have two cards to pick. It also means that all of the expansions aren't compatible either. The one difference to gameplay (aside from the streamlined cards) is the included die. There are some cards that have a symbol that looks like the die. When you use one, you roll the die and add the result in front of the power (You can see an example in my pics). The results can be fun....but can also be just meh. When you get -3 or Pi (3.14) or 1 million, it can be a bit silly to argue depending on the power card. The only negative, and we have only had it happen a few times, is when the people judging are biased towards a player. That can take the fun out but, thankfully, Grim Rabbit has added instructions on how to handle that.... and I quote "If a player is being biased, shame them for it mercilessly until they understand!". Sounds good to me! LOL Overall, we had a LOT of fun with the game. It isn't an entire revamp of a game that has worked for over a decade, it's just a bit more sleek and quicker to get to the battles. For only $20, I think that this is well worth the money for all of the laughter it will bring. ... show more

  • Everyone I've played this game with has left with their sides hurting from laughing.
This is a simple, yet hilarious game where each round two people create super heroes and then argue about which hero would win in a fight. Each person draws 3 white cards (hero characters) and 3 black cards (random powers that could be good or bad) then chooses one white card and one black card to create their hero. Then they choose another black card at random from the draw pile to throw in some variability and then the arguing begins. Every one else at the table then votes on who would win the fight and that person gets a point. We ended up with heroes like: Mom who controls one pigeon and rides in a blimp; and Saber-toothed Hitler who can throw an infinite number of bears at his opponents. There are the occasional super over powered hero (God or Angels) but we made up a house rule that they had to be discarded after beating everyone at the table. This version adds a new type of card that has a blank and makes you roll for the quantity. The die has various values from zero to infinity which can make for some surprising wins and losses depending on how well you roll. It's got lots of replayability but I still want to get the first edition just so I have more options. The cards are pretty standard cards and can be bent if you're not careful with them. There's way too many to sleeve though. ... show more

  • Super fun game for small groups or large parties!
This game is so fun and excellent quality!! It for sure is fun and can be hilarious with a group of friends (it says 3+), but honestly it even works for just two people who just want a giggle and don’t care about the rules. I think there are a lot of fun card options and prompts that can cause serious chaos, but in a good way. I appreciate that there are plenty of different ways you can play, per the instructions. That said, I do think the instructions are lacking a bit. For someone who loves to follow rules, it feels like there are maybe too many things left up for interpretation in the game rules/instructions. For example, there are cards that are blank or have a blank white box on it, but there is nothing that says what these cards are actually for/how to use. Overall, this game is fun and I look forward to many game nights fighting for fun with friends. ... show more
