If your kids have a switch console and you like car racing, buy this game. Update: I have put in about 5 mins per day on this game instead of phone gaming; I just deleted all my phone games because phone gaming for me is not as fun as playing on a dedicated console. The Super Street game is as fun as Tony Hawks Pro Skateboarder on Playstation. Also my kids love that I am playing Nintendo games with them. So it added a bonding factor to our lives. ... show more

Fun Arcade Racing with a Few Rough Edges. Super Street Racer is a fun arcade-style racing game for the Nintendo Switch that delivers exactly what you’d expect if you’re looking for simple, pick-up-and-play racing. The controls are easy to learn, making it a good choice for both younger players and anyone who just wants to jump into a race without a steep learning curve. The game features a decent variety of tracks and vehicles, and I enjoyed unlocking new content as I progressed. The races move at a fast pace, and there are enough twists, turns, and obstacles to keep things interesting. It’s a great game to play in short sessions, whether at home or in handheld mode. Visually, the game is colorful and runs well for the most part. While the graphics won’t compete with bigger racing franchises, they fit the arcade style and help create an enjoyable experience. The soundtrack also does a nice job of keeping the energy up during races. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it can feel repetitive after extended play, and the AI difficulty can sometimes be inconsistent. I also would have liked to see more game modes, additional customization options, and a larger selection of tracks to add even more replay value. Overall, Super Street Racer is an enjoyable budget-friendly racing game that’s easy to pick up and have fun with. So as I sum up the game overall it’s pretty Mediocre at best. The driving and the maps aren’t really anything special. Graphically to me it looks like a PlayStation 2 game. I do like how you build a car from a clunker to a decent sports car. I don’t understand how a clunker starts out with nitro boost but I guess that’s ok. Lol. There are by far better racing games out there. I recommend the Need for speed remastered. For the price point of this game it’s not bad. I’ll play this when I need a break from my other games. ... show more

This game is simple and fun, the upgrades are actually real products and if you have surround sound this game sounds awesome! This is a simple and fun game to play that will keep you occupied for hours...did I mention how good it sounds on Dolby Digital!!!
