I’ve been using one set of furniture sliders for years. They have never worn out and I still use them. They are the huge size and white on the bottom. They stand out too much to leave them permanently under heavy furniture that needs to be moved on a regular basis. That is the reason for this new purchase. I wanted all black so they wouldn’t stand out. I bought two sets. I keep one set under a heavy sofa so I can pull it out easily. I keep another set under my refrigerator as the rollers on the refrigerator only move in one direction, front to back. The sliders fit under the rollers and I can easily slide that humongous appliance out to clean behind it and instead of fighting it on my ceramic tile and the grout lines. I needed to be able to move a large dresser as I was having carpet removed. The floor installers wanted $75 to move the dresser 10 pieces because it’s big with a mirror. I decided to go on Amazon and look at furniture movers. I also purchased a lever to assist me with lifting the dresser to put the sliders under it, once I got the sliders under the dresser, it was easy Peary moving it across the carpet. I will be purchasing smaller ones because I would like to leave them permanently under my bed, so I’m able to move it more easily for for cleaning ... show more

Both my couch and love seat have electric recliners. Both weight over 400lbs. I need to swap their positions in my living room, but I couldn't even get close to moving them myself. A friend recommended these furniture sliders so I ordered them even though I didn't give them much hope. Boy, was I shocked !!! I slid them under the feet of the furniture and was able to slide them around on my medium height carpet - all by myself. It was a breeze and totally shocked me !!! One of my favorite purchases. Our bed is HEAVY. Without these sliders we would have had to take the mattress and electronic base off to move the bed. With the sliders underneath the bed legs I was able to slide the bed on my own. These get 5 stars for me! So good.
