    • Best Wonder Woman costume I could find
I originally ordered the small for my daughter because I think I misread some of the reviews and for some reason thought this ran a little big (she is a tall thin age 6). Definitely NOT big. It barely covered her butt and the waist was above her belly button. I ordered the medium size 8-10 and received it today and it fits MUCH better. It's a little big around, but the length is right and the belt fits perfectly (it ties so it's very adjustable). The quality is what you would expect from a store bought costume and the nearly $35 price tag is a bit steep to replace the cheaper small size, but my daughter wanted Wonder Woman so I reordered it. Just a word of warning, having ordered both the small and medium I found a major flaw in the mix. The headband for the small is very big and kind of cushy (same foam like material as the belt and arm bands) with a fixed elastic. It fits my 6 yr old perfectly and looks good. The headband for the medium is tiny, a different kind of material (not cushy and smaller WW logo) and the elastic has a velcro fastener and is easily and inch too short to fit my daughters head even with stretched elastic. They are obviously reversed size wise, not sure why. I returned the small one with the small costume and kept the larger one for the larger costume, it seemed to make sense. If someone orders the small one I returned they will want the smaller headband. The bigger one would be too big for a 3 yr old. My other problem with it, and this is my own personal nit-pick as a WW fan, is that the arm bands are silver. Her arm bands were gold like the tiara, belt and lasso of truth so I don't understand why they didn't just make them out of the same material as the belt and headband...gold. I may try to find a way to paint them or find gold tape to cover them. Over all my daughter was thrilled with the costume and wore it all over tonight capturing me, the bad guy who captured her kitty, and it seemed to stand up to her play quite well. I'm pretty sure she will have a lot of fun with this after Halloween. ... show more

I purchased the Small. The packaging read for US size 4-6. Ages 3-4. My child is 4.5yo, 40 lbs and 42 inches tall. It just fit. I ordered the small because a few reviews said that small fit their 5yo. It's not something she could wear again for dress up in a few months. The boot coverings easily fall. Luckily I have body tape to keep them up for halloween. Body tape costs about $10 at Lord & Taylor. The arm cuffs/bands are too big, but of course kids don't care about this and they don't seem to really fall off. The belt is a little too big, but you could easily adjust it by adding velcro. And as my daughter pointed out, Wonder Woman doesn't wear a cape. That's right she doesn't. It would have been cool if it came with a "golden lasso". My suggestion would be to try a Medium if your child is 4yo although it'd probably be a little too big. ... show more

    • Some pointers about this costume! Size 4-6
First of all my daughter is 5 years old and LOVES this costume, which is what matters most. The colors are great and best of all it is comfortable (not itchy at all which I find most costumes tend to be). The body part and cape are connected and fit PERFECT! I would say almost to perfect for a 5 years old, but it is stretchy so it should fit 6 year olds as well. Yes when it arrived there were some strings hanging from around the Wonder Woman logo on the chest but a little snip snip did the trick and it looks fine! The head piece is slightly big, but if you put your child's hair in a pony tail or even cut the back and tie it together it works great and looks great. The belt was to big and i'd recommend getting some inexpensive velcro at the store so you can fit it to your child's waist or sew it directly to the costume. Boots like most people said are big. Either plan on sewing them to fit or not wearing them at all. The skirt is short but I wouldn't make it a deal breaker when purchasing. With some white leggings or blue shorts, it looks great. I find leggings works the best as the temperature where I live is cool at night in October so she will be warmer. I do hope at some point the company changes the size of the boot fabric and make the belt more adjustable as it is a great part of the costume and I would like my money's worth by being able to use everything with a little less of my own work to make it fit. Some one said they washed it and it messed it all up.. Like all costumes, never put them in washer and dryer unless it specifies or it will tear up. Hand wash to be on the safe side!!!!!! In conclusion, Some of the items with the costume may need to be adjusted or not used, but the body part/cape look and fit great! I highly recommend this costume. Your child will LOVE it!!!     • Where's the invisible plane? Oh there it is.
My six-year-old is tall for her age (usually wears a size 8) so I went with the 8-10 Medium size. It fits well with a little bit of room to go.The boot-covers could use some elastic to keep them in place, but it seems decently sturdy and if it is a cold Halloween we might end up pinning them to her leggings. It's fun and shiny and does not appear to have any manufacturing flaws (no rips or loose threads). Looks pretty much exactly like the picture. My daughter did express disappointment that there was no lasso of truth, but we'll figure that out later. ... show more
