I've had this case about 6 months and dropped my phone at work (concrete floors) a few times but the phone was fine. Last week it fell off my work station (about 4 ft.high) and landed on a corner of the case. I was afraid to pick up it up but when I checked it, the phone was completely intact! I just noticed today the inside corner of the case has a crack. That's what took the brunt of the fall but saved my phone. I'm ordering a new one today! Hands down the best case I've ever had! I bought this almost 3yrs ago now and just recently bought a second one! That's how long it took before the first one broke enough to where I had to replace it lol, the durability is fantastic! My phone has been kicked off grooming tables, dropped on concrete from my pocket or from my Lifted jeep, it's protected my phone through so much! Phone fits great in it, easy to grip and looks pretty good! My only complaints about it is it's hard at first to get it on or get your phone out of it because I'm always afraid I'll end up breaking the plastic top frame, and it's very hard getting the stand on the back open. Overall, it's a great phone case if you're looking for protection and style. It feels secure and ergonomic, despite adding bulk to the phone. Wireless charging also works. However, it is not compatible with all screen protectors, the kickstand only works in one orientation and only if fully extended, magnetic phone holders don't work with it, and it can be a pain to remove the case and put it back on. PRO: - Protection: Best in it's class, the case absorbs shock extremely well and the extrusion/ lip at the top and bottom sides of the case on the screen side protect the phone's screen from impact with rocks or debris. I find this to be a typical blind spot of most phone cases; that is, collision with a rock on the screen, which almost always leads to crack in the screen where the force is concentrated (even with screen protectors). The phone also just feels very secure in this case. -Ergonomics: The case is made with textured rubber and hard plastic, big but not blocky buttons, and the case itself adds enough "weight" to where it feels secure in your hands but doesn't feel too bulky and heavy. -Style: Looks sleek in all black, does not look tacky. Black is definitely more suitable for men. -Wireless Charging: this is compatible -Cleanability: Easy to clean grease or other dirt on the exterior and interior -Phone Clip: never really used it, so neutral CON: -Magnetic Phone Holder & Kickstand: I am combining this criteria because for me they are things that go hand-in-hand. The S22 Ultra is a big phone, which requires a big magnetic force to use with a magnetic phone holder. This case has too much width and not enough room inside to add a magnetic or metal piece on the inside (the attraction is too weak and the case becomes awkardly bulky). You also can't place an adhesive magnetic piece to the backside, because of the texture and the kickstand. I tried this and the kickstand pulled the adhesive out after a week. You also can't use the kickstand with a magnetic piece. The kickstand itself is limited in use and kind of difficult to pull out and use. First off, it's only useful in one orientation (landscape) and only if you pull it out completely. The kickstand is made of hard plastic, so it lacks any magnetic quality. The kickstand is also hard to pull out unless you have really thin, flat fingers or really hard nails. I've pulled out my keys a lot to be able to use it. My suggestions to the manufacturer are to look at stands created by competitors. They have magnetic, ring shaped kickstands that work in almost any angle you pull the kickstand to (works in portrait or landscape too) and are also compatible with wireless charging. Killing 3 birds with one stone. This would automatically make this my favorite case. I use magnetic ohone holders heavily in my car, and kickstands are also used everyday. - Screen Protectors: I used a whitedome screen protector (pricey!) twice and each time I put the case on this phone with that protector, it inevitably cracked a corner, and significantly weakened the protective ability of the protector. Not only did I lose the money on the screen protectors, but my phone also didn't have the protection I want. There are other reviews that say the same thing about this case. Even though some people managed to fit it no problem, the amount of people that had a problem far outweigh those people, so this is definitely a problem that needs to be addressed. This is reason, and the kickstand/magnetic phone holder, are the reason why I don't use this case anymore. -Removability: very difficult to remove or put on without scratching the paint off on the sides. It's also somewhat difficult to remove the case. I broke the plastic frame while removing it my 2nd time, the same time my screen protector got chipped. With a lot of finesse I was able to put the phone in with the broken frame, but the case needs to be redesigned with this criteria in mind. Huge drawback imo Overall, I'd rate thise phone case a 4/10. If you're only looking for a tank of a phone case that can take a beating and you never want to remove the case, then this is right for you. I'd recommend getting the manufacturer's screen protector as well, in that case (though I've no idea if it's good or not). It definitely won't slip from your hands either. If you're looking for something that's magnetic accessory compatible, a versatile and easy to use kickstand, or something that is easy to put together or remove, then I'd suggest you keep looking. There are other phone cases that offer these qualities, with the caveat of having less protection and ergonomics. If the manufacturer implements or considers the suggestions I propose, they could very well have the best, most protective, most versatile phone case on the market. ... show more
