These shorts are exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a soft and comfortable compression type short that I could wear underneath my skirts and dresses that would help hold my tummy in & prevent chafing in my thighs. The 8” length is perfect! There are so many biker shorts on Amazon, I decided to try a bunch to really figure out what would work for me. I compared these to the Colorfulkoala Seamless Biker Shorts 8", Sunzel 10" Biker shorts, the CRZ Naked Feeling 6" Bike shorts, and the Kamo Fitness Serenity shorts, all in a size small (I'm about a 26.5" waist, 35" hip, 5'5" tall). Of all the shorts, these 8" Deep Pocket shorts are the most brushed and "stiff" feeling fabric. In the black color, they are a tiny bit tighter than all the other shorts, including a pair of Sunzel 10" bike shorts (no pockest). The fabric just doesn't feel quite as comfortable, stretchy and breathable as a lot of the other options. But I do approve of the no-front-seam and side pockets. The most flattering of all the shorts were the Kamo Fitness Serenity Shorts. The seams are all in the right places for a flattering booty and minimal camel issues. But a complete lack of pockets really kills me. Overall I preferred the CRZ Naked Feeling shorts with pockets. There is a front seam, but the fabric is stretchy enough to minimize CT and the seams are flattering. It's a smooth, sleek, breathable material. They are a 6" inseam so not ideal if you need something longer, but I did go running in them and they didn't ride up. The Colorfulkoala Seamless shorts had a thinner, brushed fabric that is good for hot weather, and no front-seam and side pockets! Also a good choice. I liked the Sunzel 10" Biker shorts more than these 8" shorts but am bummed they don't have pockets (but yes to a waistband pocket). A lightly brushed fabric but feels much more stretchy and looks very flattering. Hard to choose between all these but hopefully my notes can give you a little more clarity!

There is a reason why these have a lot of favorable reviews and over 19K reviews total! They are soft, they stretch, and are very comfortable in addition to being pretty! My husband bought me the first two pairs in darker pink and lavender; I loved them and wanted more but he would not say where he got them! I looked at the brand name and had seen it before on Amazon (thank you Amazon and the seller)!!! - so I checked it and I'm wearing the mint green pair now! The are lovely! Love the buttery soft shorts and I have to have pockets in my shorts; wear a lot of them in FL since buying a home here 9 yrs ago. I just ordered two more! If you try them, you will probably love them too! p.s. I wear the same size as Marilyn Monroe did; a 14 - but mine is in stretch jeans (emphasis on the stretch)! Ordered a Large and they fit perfectly!

They are near perfect. 5 inch length isn't too short or too long. Fabric is buttery soft, love the flat front. Legs don't roll. Pocket fits my phone! They look super small out of the bag, but fit perfectly. I am normally a small in finess shorts and these feel true to size.

These shorts are great for my purposes, but I do not think they are as good as advertised. I bought it to wear under skirts and dresses when I attend my dance classes to protect my modesty, and these have done their job. I probably wouldn’t buy them again, but it’s good enough that I won’t return them. They have zero tummy control, not even a little bit. There was no attempt at this so keep that in mind, because the title literally states that it has this. I feel that this is misleading. The fabric feels like cotton and around the tummy is no different. It’s a soft material so it is quite comfortable though. I do get a little sweaty wearing these and the shorts stay wet, but it isn’t super bothersome to me because I’m only using them for short periods and it isn’t a high intensity exercise. The length is good and I’m 5’7 so I’m a little taller for a woman. Pockets fit my iPhone 14 Pro so that’s always a bonus to have pockets. Overall they are still good shorts really, but because it’s not like they advertised I think it’s not going to be good for the people looking for this type of short. For the price I also must say, it’s extreamly cheap and at the time that’s all I really needed. So for the price I was surprised that these shorts held up well. If you want a simple cotton, soft, non compression short then this is perfect for you. It’s very stretchy even, so I could see uses in maternity wear. Otherwise, keep looking!

I love these shorts. I have three pairs now, and they are all great. I love how they stretch but still help shape, and they don’t roll up all the time (still roll up from time to time, but way less than other similar shorts I’ve tried). The fabric also feels so nice, it’s thick but not hot, and feels buttery smooth.
