Took this half way around the world to South Africa and was pleased with how it kept items cold/hot. Now let's talk about the lid. What it does well 1. Keep liquids from spilling. there are silicon seals over the drink and vent holes which seal tightly enough to keep the liquid from draining out even when inverted 180 degrees. What it doesn't do well 1. Drink opening is either too small or the vent hole isn't big enough, but takes several seconds to get a decent amount of liquid in you mouth. 2. NO EASY WAY TO CLEAN. If you use it for coffee or tea, the area between the lid cover and the lid is inaccessible and gets gross over time with dried coffee/tea. There does not appear to be an easy way to remove it (self locking tabs) so soaking in bleach is the only viable method and even that is difficult. Since I was traveling, I didn't want to try pry the cover off for fear of breaking it but now that I'm back home may take a stab at it. ... show more

I think Yetis are overpriced, so I wanted to try a cheaper alternative. I think the cup works as well as a Yeti, but the cap needs a redesign. Coffee and other liquids get under the slider, and make a sticky mess, and you can't remove the slider to clean it without breaking the retention tabs. So I wound up buying a Yeti lid to use on it. I didn't like the top :/ Kept my coffee hot, all night, in a tent, about 55° outside. But the slot is small, the vent is blocked by the slider, which in itself, is hard to push. Maybe just my arthritic hands for the latter, but the vent issue, wasn't good. Will be buying another lid.

This is a very good tumbler and it does keep liquid hot for a while. I filled it up from the coffee pot with hot water, left it overnight and it was still warm in the morning. The only thing I do not care for is the lid. I actually changed the lid it came with with the Yeti lid and it does a lot better. ... show more

Great tumbler, seals well, cleans up well... But Does Not hold 20 oz of liquid and still put the lid on. I feel slightly deceived by the title/headline... "Sunwill 20 oz tumbler" I poured a 16.9 oz bottled water in last evening and it filled it to where you could still put the lid on. any more and you could not have put the lid on! I guess to get the 20 oz as advertised one would have to fill it to the tippy top! but then you could not put the lid on until you drank a few sips... all in all not a bad buy! ... show more
