Color spectrum is great, can really dial in a good gradual sunrise in the dark mornings to help slowly wake up. It’s not like some I’ve seen that just turn on full brightness. It’s a slow rise. Not only does the brightness slower increase but the color changes as well. For the money it’s a great value. I only use it for a sunrise lamp essentially so I can’t speak to the other functions. Another thing I do like though is that I’m able to turn off the clock backlight completely if needed. I keep it on the dimmest setting which is still readable in the pitch black but does distract from sleep. I knocked one star because the instructions are a little confusing, but after you play around with it for a bit you get the hang of all the options. I would recommend.

These alarm clocks very in price so be sure to do your research before ordering one you can get very comfortable ones at a decent price like this one. It works very well easy to set up and makes life a little easier without the old racket noise of old school alarm clocks this one you can pick and choose what you'd like and how to wake you up more mellow but also get the benefits of a gradual light instead of bright light in your face first thing in the morning it's a great alternative and a way to ease into your morning

I have several similar sunrise alarm clocks since I think they are a nice addition to every room. I use these clocks for the nature sound effects and I set the sunrise to come up at least an hour before I have to all over the house. I really like the look and feel of this one. What I like the most about this one is: 1. It's a bit heavier than other similar models, feels a bit less plastic and cheap-so I like the quality 2.I like the design with the majority of the clock being the light vs. half-light(top) half clock (bottom) 3. This clock has additional nature sounds to include a heartbeat. It's awesome and soothing and PERFECT for a nursery or child's room. The bird chirping (one of my favorite day time sounds) is nice on this clock and does not sound like a loop. My only criticism is the sound of the FM radio is a bit cheesy as you make it loud but placed on low its fine. Overall, this is now one of my favorites because of the shape, the look of a sun rising, the added nature sounds. This is perfect for a bedroom, a dorm room, a nursery or kids' room and will be especially soothing for Alzheimer's patients and people with seasonal disorders as this is more than a clock, it's a soothing ray of sunshine.

I’ve had my current alarm clock for 20+ years…it’s super dated, but still works fine. I decided it was time to upgrade to something more modern and I’m so glad I did! This isn’t just an alarm clock though. It has tons of really cool features and the light feature is a game changer. This creates the perfect ambiance for relaxing in the evening and the most relaxing feeling waking up to the “sunrise.” This would be great in a nursery as well. Especially since the light can be adjusted and brought down to a really dim position. I was a bit intimidated with all of the buttons and features, but once I played with it for a few minutes I had it all figured out. I love the dual alarm, the nature sounds and that it has a battery back up. The description does a great job of highlighting all of the features so I won’t list them here, but they are all there and work just fine. This is also a really nice looking alarm clock. It adds to your decor instead of just looking like a clunky thing on your bedside table. I would highly recommend this to everyone! 5 stars!!!

I was going to give this clock to my teenaged grandson but I like it so much, I just might keep it for myself! It does just about everything you need an alarm clock to do and it's kind of mesmerizing to watch the glowing colors fade from one to the next. I love the sunrise light for the alarm, it wakes a person up slowly and gently without the blaring sound of the alarm to shock you awake. Of course, if you need or want the blaring alarm, you can have that as well. I found this clock to be easy to operate. It has a lot of buttons that can be intimidating at first but once you realize what they're for and how simple they are to use, it's not intimidating at all. And the shape of this thing is so cool! Is it a retro mid-century modern design from when we were obsessed with space and UFOs? Or is it a sleek, contemporary clock that goes well with clean lines and minimalist décor? I think it can go either way-it fits well in many design categories. This is a really great find!
