Used this to encase my yard for my dog. While she doesnt actively try to get out and im sure my dog could chew through it if she wanted, she hasnt. Its held up great the last 2 years and gets the job done. Thick strong material and I would buy again if i needed to. If you plan on pairing these with something like tomato garden poles, I would get the 6 ft poles then hammer down about 2 1/2 ft and if you dont have good solid ground you will need to double up on them. ... show more

We installed (3) one hundred foot rolls on our property line to deter the deer. It went up easily on seven foot t-posts every ten feet, attached with zip ties. This fence cannot stop deer if they are determined to go under, over or through. But it is against a high hedge and it is an unlikely place for them to jump. We ran a rope across the top to give them the impression that the fence is six foot high when it is actually four. And we hung bags of Irish Spring soap chunks which will offend then for awhile. If we can keep them out for the first few weeks of spring usually they will find other options and habits lasting through summer. I would give this product five stars but it is less durable that expected. If you put your fingers into the holes to put the fence taught you can easily stretch and break the mesh. Still, I will be happy if it lasts for a couple of years. I fully expect some chew holes from chipmunks ... show more

Currently using this to frame in a temporary place for protecting plants that I didn't get into the ground before frost. (My bad, I know.) This give them breathing room to grow (trees, large bushes) and keeps out the darling deer who will eat anything. We also used it to fence a couple of tender plants so they had a good sturdy base for the frost covers I added on top. Next spring, we'll reuse what we can and what have left on the roll to build a catio for our two new cats. Like the headline says this is a good soft (not hard metal, I like that because I can work with it without using gloves) all-around fencing. And probably buy more! ... show more

These were destroyed in the first wind storm, before snow had a chance to fall. I am in Wyoming and we have serious wind. If your wind is not extreme (gusts 50-70mph), these may work for you. They do seem to be brittle in the cold, as they ripped easily when I took them down. We secured these with zip ties to t-posts. ... show more

It is light weight and very easy to put up in just a few minutes. It does do well as a visual barrier. I use it to keep chickens in an outside run. Mine is 4 foot tall and the chickens can fly over it, but most choose not too. The one's that do, don't go far because they want to be with the flock and try to figure out how to get back in. I recommend a circular type run with no corner's for chickens. It does not work well as a physical barrier. The plastic is very flimsy and easily torn. I also have a lot of rabbit's that chew their way through. In just a few weeks I have several 8-10" diameter holes. In conclusion, it works well as a physcological barrier but will not keep any determined animal from going through, over or under it. ... show more
