It's not very often you buy something and it's even better than what you imagined. This chair is sturdy, folds up easily into a compact size. When folded up the chair has a nice carrying handle and the case also has a carrying handle. The only problem is the chair is black so it shows up the dirt when you're out camping. If the chair is for camping purposes buy the brown one so it doesn't show the dirt so much. Mine is black and it really shows the dirt but I am still super happy with the chair. ... show more

This is a SUBSTANTIAL, sturdy beach/camp chair. It's rated to hold 500#. It's heavier than a similar chair I bought a couple years ago and I wouldn't want to carry it a long distance. It's very comfortable and the side pouches are a nice addition. The side table is what I like the best. UPDATE: After using this chair for a camping trip, I found it a bit heavy to lug around. We were 4 families each with separate RVs. We'd share breakfast and dinner cooking responsibilities, so someone had to carry this chair from 1 campsite to another and back again. It was a bit too heavy for my liking so I gave it to my son for Father's Day. He thinks it's comfortable (his wife doesn't) and really likes that it folds up more compactly than brands like Timber Ridge, which I prefer. ... show more
