I purchased several different lengths in this color as well as #8 Light Brown. I used the light brown at the nape of my neck, then layered the highlighted wefts on top with the light brown tape-ins underneath to help everything blend naturally. My goal was to add both length and a lighter look without chemically highlighting my own hair, and this ended up being the perfect solution. I have extremely thick hair, so blending extensions is always a little more challenging for me. I was also worried about the weight because I suffer from severe migraines and too much tension can trigger them. So far, though, these have been surprisingly comfortable and not overly heavy. I do plan on ordering more grams for additional fullness and hopefully easing myself into the extra weight gradually. Because of my migraines, I rarely wear my hair up, but if you do plan on wearing ponytails or buns, I’d recommend keeping styles lower and using a clip or soft scrunchie to avoid tension. I used shorter wefts for the bottom layers and longer ones toward the top for a more natural blend. I also added a few lowlights to the blonde pieces to better match my roots. The hair itself is incredibly soft, smooth, manageable, and very easy to work with. As someone who does hair professionally and owns a salon, I’ve worked with a lot of different extension brands, and Sunny honestly impressed me. I installed these myself and was genuinely happy with the quality. A friend of mine also wears these in a darker shade and has had hers for quite a while. I recently trimmed her ends and they came right back to life, so with proper care, you can definitely get good longevity out of them. Overall, I think these are an amazing value for the price, especially if you’re installing them yourself. If you have a friend that can help you out with these .. that’d be a major plus bc it can be difficult doing it on your own BUT it can be done.

This year is the most amazing human hair extensions I’ve ever had or ever felt. Absolutely amazing and the color match was perfect. I got the tape in ones not to tape them in my hair, but because I wanted to make my own hat wig. I took a hat and taped the extensions inside the hat and tacked them down with a single stitch. I only use 20 pieces and I got the 14 inch length because of where they would attach. My hair is normally 18 inches. I trimmed it and went out with my hat on and love it. So for $50 worth of extensions, I was able to make a hat wig, and I could’ve easily doubled the volume of hair to make it look thicker. I prefer thinner.

The hair is very nice and silky. Upon arrival that part I really really loved, and the ease of putting them in. Remember when putting them in to use a very good clarifying shampoo, don’t condition your hair to prevent slippage. I have baby fine hair I’m looking for length and a little bit of volume, I just took out my Professionally Keratin bonded extensions that I’ve been using for the past years but last girl that did them caused my hair to break by using to large of bonds and placing incorrectly into my fine hair as they were hurting-pulling - breaking off I decided to take them out and not put them back in because it’s very costly to professionally have it done and then when somebody screws up and causes your hair to break up 3 to 4 inches it’s not good. My normal hairdresser was out sick - which is irrelevant to this review, but I wanted to give my hair healing time and thought that this would be less aggressive Anyways, getting to the point about this particular brand, I took them to my hairdresser for a whopping $150 she was able to put them in for me professionally I had them in for about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and they started frizzing & Tangling oddly I used some coconut oil on them because your hair produces its own oils I was reading that adding a little bit of coconut oil onto the mid-section to ends will help with this problem. It mildly did. Everybody has an opinion on how to install extensions and I think it’s really going depend on the person’s head and hair. So that brings me to the second issue that I’ve had don’t let your hairdresser put these extensions down too low in the back of the head it was pull and hurt painfully as minded and I had to take them out as a lesson learned. You should have those baby hairs not used because they are fairly delicate and they will pull and it will hurt and they will break off CC I have not had good luck with my hairdresser so recently I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands I wish they had some type of instructions when installing these because I am a newbie at this But I would suggest starting at the back of the head, sectioning your head off in parts and arranging the back up if you have fine hair like me, and then doing the sides last I would stay away from the front of the face anything in front of the ears is a no I’ve learned always make sure you have hair attaching enough in between all your sandwiches and enough hair to overlap over it so you can’t see them If anybody has any great tips, it would be great that they leave them in the review so newbies that are sharing our experiences can help Now for the self, it’s pretty natural for the price. It’s good, I’m not too sure about the frizzing. I’ve been using natural shampoos that don’t have any chemicals or silicone or anything in them. I am not sure why they started doing that and the color started shifting a bit I’m going to guess I probably have hard water They don’t provide enough clips, so make sure you have some and they don’t provide enough glue strips, so make sure you buy more if you want to do your hair more than once and that’s the reason for my four star and I wouldn’t recommend leaving these in longer than four weeks and then resituate them they start to tug on your hair because they are tape it and you are taping glue onto your hair

Adds volume + length!! Doesn’t get tangled easily! looks so natural! Great price and quality! I can style them (use med-low heat to avoid damaging ends) I refuse to wear my hair natural after these 😄 make sure to buy tape removing oil to take them out to avoid hair loss. After you take the extensions out give your natural hair a few days to wash, mask, + recover before applying again. I usually use them twice and then order a new set since I use a lot of heat on them. First pic is my natural hair (approx 12in) and I ordered 18 in extensions

I’ve had these in for about two weeks now and they’re in great condition. I’ve washed and blow dried them multiple times and you can tell they’re 100% human hair. My hair is not too thick, but I did have to order three packs so I would keep that in mind. I highly suggest watching a tape ins install tutorial because that really helped me. They also have kits that are here on Amazon too! I got the 22 inches jet black. I’m 5’3 and this goes to my lower back. They blend so well and I’m honestly so pleased. People are shocked when I tell them it’s fake and my friends are surprised at how well they blend. I don’t normally write reviews but I had to for this one! I would definitely recommend these. Also if you can never find tape- in removal that works best, use coconut oil!

OVERALL GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY. I have been using sunny hair for almost a year. I mix the Platinum 60 Blonde with Sun Blonde - which is the ombre ash blonde root to platinum blonde. 18 Inches (2 Packs installed) I sandwich one of each color together to make a nice blend and I put the ombre facing up to blend with my root as my bleached hair grows out. This keeps them more discreet. Don’t get scared of the sun blonde it’s still light enough when you mix it with solid platinum as you can see. But alone they look dark. It just gives my hair more dimension while still blonde. I can usually leave these in for up to two months and I have a little shedding. I have never once lost a sandwich in the shower. I do get some tangling around the shoulders, but I make sure to brush it with a detangling brush gently. Something I can live with. I also feel that this is human hair and not mixed with synthetic. I did buy some hair from full shine to test the quality and I ended up returning it because it felt more like synthetic Barbie doll hair and I hadn’t even washed it yet. These from sunny hair come super soft and silky and even after I wash them they’re still soft, they hold a curl you can style them. And I always do use salon professional products. Also used purple shampoo on these extensions. CON- My biggest complaint is that the removal process is very difficult. So don’t recommend, using heat to seal them when installing. I stopped doing that. The glue is STRONGGGG. I bought an oil remover from a wig shop that was amazing but it would still leave some of the tape strips in my hair, which were very hard to get out. I did experienced some breakage just removing them. This was trial and error. Then I bought an alcohol base remover from Big Kizzy and that helped a little but still a lot of residue, and some matting near the tapes that made it very difficult to get out. I do sleep with a silk bonnet. I do put my hair in a braid or low bun when i sleep and I follow all the maintenance rules. I take very good care of my extensions and I’m still having a very difficult time removing them. But i deal with it cause every company I’ve researched - Full Shine and Goo Goo all seem to have worse complaints. I also have a sunny hair halo that I’ve had for almost 2 years that I’ve toned and bleached and washed and it’s amazing. This last batch of hair I got was not good quality, I’m very disappointed because I reached out to Sunny Hair directly, and they just dismissed me and offered me a $10 credit, which was a joke, considering that I’m a long-term customer. But I’m trying not to leave a bias review and give an honest opinion based on the last year and my true experience.
