Having worn hair extensions for a good part of the last five years, I can confidently say I'm something of an aficionado in this area. When I decided to try Sunny Hair's Tape in hair extensions, I had high expectations, and let me tell you - they've been exceeded in every way. The brand has upgraded their materials to use virgin hair. This hair type is smoother than Remy hair and rarely tangles. I have been using it for almost 3 months and it still remains smooth!! The hair is very nice and silky. Upon arrival that part I really really loved, and the ease of putting them in. Remember when putting them in to use a very good clarifying shampoo, don’t condition your hair to prevent slippage. I have baby fine hair I’m looking for length and a little bit of volume, I just took out my Professionally Keratin bonded extensions that I’ve been using for the past years but last girl that did them caused my hair to break by using to large of bonds and placing incorrectly into my fine hair as they were hurting-pulling - breaking off I decided to take them out and not put them back in because it’s very costly to professionally have it done and then when somebody screws up and causes your hair to break up 3 to 4 inches it’s not good. My normal hairdresser was out sick - which is irrelevant to this review, but I wanted to give my hair healing time and thought that this would be less aggressive Anyways, getting to the point about this particular brand, I took them to my hairdresser for a whopping $150 she was able to put them in for me professionally I had them in for about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks and they started frizzing & Tangling oddly I used some coconut oil on them because your hair produces its own oils I was reading that adding a little bit of coconut oil onto the mid-section to ends will help with this problem. It mildly did. Everybody has an opinion on how to install extensions and I think it’s really going depend on the person’s head and hair. So that brings me to the second issue that I’ve had don’t let your hairdresser put these extensions down too low in the back of the head it was pull and hurt painfully as minded and I had to take them out as a lesson learned. You should have those baby hairs not used because they are fairly delicate and they will pull and it will hurt and they will break off CC I have not had good luck with my hairdresser so recently I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands I wish they had some type of instructions when installing these because I am a newbie at this But I would suggest starting at the back of the head, sectioning your head off in parts and arranging the back up if you have fine hair like me, and then doing the sides last I would stay away from the front of the face anything in front of the ears is a no I’ve learned always make sure you have hair attaching enough in between all your sandwiches and enough hair to overlap over it so you can’t see them If anybody has any great tips, it would be great that they leave them in the review so newbies that are sharing our experiences can help Now for the self, it’s pretty natural for the price. It’s good, I’m not too sure about the frizzing. I’ve been using natural shampoos that don’t have any chemicals or silicone or anything in them. I am not sure why they started doing that and the color started shifting a bit I’m going to guess I probably have hard water They don’t provide enough clips, so make sure you have some and they don’t provide enough glue strips, so make sure you buy more if you want to do your hair more than once and that’s the reason for my four star and I wouldn’t recommend leaving these in longer than four weeks and then resituate them they start to tug on your hair because they are tape it and you are taping glue onto your hair ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased three packages of the dark black shiny, 100% real hair tape in extensions. When deciding on the length I used a fabric measuring tape to get an idea of how long I wanted the extensions. This brand is THE BEST! I had mine installed by my hair dresser, but the instructions were easy to follow and I’m positive I could have done them myself. I used 2.5 packages. It may have been a bit excessive, but I LUUUUVED it! I had so many compliments. No one could tell I had extensions. BECAUSE it was amazing quality and real hair, it matched perfectly and was smooth, soft and shiny. It styled perfectly and I had no issues matching the rest of my hair! I’ve been sharing this brand with everyone!! I am so excited for my next hair adventure! Since I’ve been dying my hair for so long I haven’t been able to change color, but now I have options galore! 🤩 My next order will be the weft extensions!
