I don’t usually leave long reviews, but I had to for these Sunny Hair Micro Link Extensions (18 inch, 50g) because they completely exceeded my expectations — especially considering I put them in myself at home! DIY Application: I was a little nervous to install micro links on my own, but these made it super manageable. The hair comes pre-bonded with micro rings already attached, so no glue or tape needed — just a pulling tool and pliers. I watched a few tutorials and took my time sectioning, and honestly, the process was pretty straightforward. Once I got the hang of it, it went fast, and the results looked like a professional install! Hair Quality: The quality is honestly amazing for the price. It’s 100% real Remy human hair — super soft, smooth, and tangle-free right out of the package. The ends are thick and healthy-looking, not scraggly like some other brands I’ve tried. I got the natural color, and it blended beautifully with my medium brown hair. Comfort & Feel: I was worried the beads would feel bulky or uncomfortable, especially since I put them in myself, but I was shocked at how flat and lightweight they feel. No tension or pulling — I almost forget I have them in. Even when I wear my hair up, the beads are well hidden. Styling & Maintenance: I’ve washed, curled, and straightened them multiple times already, and they hold up beautifully. They don’t shed much at all, and they bounce back after styling with heat (using a protectant, of course). I sleep with my hair in a loose braid and haven’t had issues with tangling or matting. Durability: It’s been a few weeks since I installed them, and they’re still secure and looking fresh. I haven’t had any beads slip, which I was honestly worried about doing it myself, but they’ve stayed in place really well. With proper care, I can definitely reuse them after tightening the beads. Important Tip: One pack (50g) gives a nice boost, but if you want full volume or thicker hair, you’ll need 2–3 packs depending on your natural hair thickness. I started with two and will probably add a third next time for extra fullness. Final Thoughts: If you’re even slightly handy or into doing your own hair, you can absolutely install these yourself. The quality is salon-level, and it’s such a great way to get natural-looking length and volume without spending a fortune. As I searched and read many reviews and descriptions I ended up purchasing 4 packs/boxes of this hair just so my salon can tell me this isn't real human hair like it states in the description and they were not able to place in my hair due to the product not being real. I tried contacting them and started a chat where I was asked what the problem was in detail. I continue to state what the salon told me all just be left on read and no message back and no one to confirmif this was in fact 100% real human hair. I would never buy this product again nor will I recommend. If this was real human hair I would of loved to see how it looked in my hair being that it does feel so silky and soft and matched my color perfectly. Super disappointed.

I’m not sure why anyone is saying anything negative about the platinum hair. I’ve bought multiple halos from this company & now these k tips. They match my hair color literally perfectly, not a single difference. They also filled my hair good. I didn’t wash them when I first got them; I installed them new & didn’t wash my hair for about a week; just used a hydrating oil on them every day, then washed them with RENPURE biotin & collagen shampoo & conditioner & leave in & some of its a 10 potion spray. Use lots of lightweight oil and the extensions stay hydrated and perfect. Amazing quality. Better than ones I’ve had professionally done

I was skeptical of this product as I usually wear tie in wefts. But I wanted to switch it up and try something not so heavy and noticeable. These extensions are awesome. My only concern is for people with oily hair and scalp, these tend to fall out fairly quickly. I am super rough with my extensions so I expect them to be tight and stay in for a while, but that’s not the case with these for myself! Everyone’s hair is different, I love the installation process, it’s quick and easy, along with the color and grams of hair you get is worth the money. I bought 4 packs and have only used 2 so far. Super easy to reuse the ones you previously had in your hair also. Would definitely buy these again!
