I purchased these sunglasses after reading a review on Wirecutter. For years I have worn transitions glasses from my optometrist. This summer I had cataract surgery and no longer need to wear prescription glasses. I did need sunglasses and decided to try Sungait. I got a triple set from Amazon and I am so pleased! They were delivered in two days and, though I hadn't noticed when I ordered, they were different shades of tint. One pair is very dark, one gradient and one a lighter tint. I really like all three! My eyes are sensitive since the surgery and I can use whichever works with the sun each day. They are stylish and comfortable and the polarization is great for my eyes. I even got an additional pair from Sungait, that one is aviator style. Now I have a pair to match what I'm wearing and how bright the day is. They come in a nice box with and bag to keep them in and a tiny screwdriver and a soft cleaning cloth. I recommend Sungait sunglasses for the style, the quality and the value. ... show more

I recently discovered Sungait sunglasses on Amazon (thank you, Wirecutter). I'm a person who has historically thought that you need to pay between $100-$200 for good sunglasses--that offer high UV protection, polarized lenses and even high definition (HD) vision--which I didn't even know was a thing but I think it makes a big difference! I love these high quality yet incredibly reasonably priced sunglasses. They are so inexpensive I now feel that I can own a drawer full of sunglasses and use them as fashion accessories. They are scratch resistant and clean up easily. I love all the 'fashion forward' styles. Have 3 pair now and will be buying more. My husband also just got on the bandwagon and has 7 pairs coming his way before we leave on an Alaskan cruise. Also, easy to try on 'virtually' to see how they look on your face. These were recommended by the site that cuts wires. I wear sunglasses daily so I look for UV protection, polarization, and dark enough lenses. These seem to be polarized, and they even come with a little test strip with an image that only appears in polarized light. The glasses themselves seem well made: strong and extremely lightweight. I find they are not quite dark enough for driving into morning or evening sun and for being out in the open at mid-day. I have serious beach grade sunglasses for that. They are just right on overcast days or for hiking in shade, where the beach shades would be too dark. And unlike the beach shades, they are lightweight enough to stick in your bag just in case. The manufacturer seems very focused on customer satisfaction and reached out to me to make sure I was happy with the sunglasses. ... show more

I purchased these sunglasses after a glowing review by Wirecutter. They arrived boxed within a box (but not excessively), along with a protective sleeve and device to tighten ear piece screw, if needed. Lens cuts down sun glare without compromising sight. (Cannot say anything yet about scratch resistence). The glasses fit comfortably and are not oversized. A bonus was the coupon for a pair of free sunglasses. After waiting a bit of time, a note to customer service was responded to quickly. Somehow the free glasses had been returned. Without no questioning another pair was sent out and received within a week. Other companies should use this as a standard for customer service. ... show more

I bought two pairs of these sunglasses two years ago on the basis of the recommendation in the Wirecutter shopping column in the New York Times. I'm still using my first pair. They fit extremely well and are very comfortable and attractive. They limit sunlight effectively, which is important to me because I live in the south and have had cataract surgery. They are very durable because the frames have held up remarkably well and the lenses do not get scratched. In fact, they are so strong that I don't even bother putting them in a case in my purse because it is not necessary. Recently I happened to see that the seller offered a variety of three different sunglasses with the right color frames that I like, all for $23. I now own five pairs of these sunglasses and am beginning to wonder how I will ever use all of them because they are so strong. I just couldn't resist the bargain that they were because I like them so much. The style is really unisex so I think I should try to farm them out to friends. ... show more

The sunglasses came with a carrying bag, lense wipe cloth and a screw tightening tool. They seem to be very good quality sunglasses. They fit my face well and are very comfortable. I chose the model with variegated shading as I find these to never be too dark, even on cloudy days. I also like that the arms are long enough that they don't scratch the lenses when folded. I've only had these for a week, so I can't say how they'll hold up over time, however, I think they will and I'll be back for more. ... show more

I love sunglasses.....probably had 50 pair in my life......these are 5 times better than the glasses that cost 5 times as much. My wife tried mine on and had to have a pair. She thinks that they give her the 'clearest and brightest' vision she has ever in any pair of glasses. Don't know what they coat these things with but I'm sure a lot of clandestine agencies would be interested in the formula. If you are a sunglass 'junkie' try one pair and you'll wind up ordering them until your money runs out. But seriously, 50,000 reviewers can't be wrong.
