This comforter is everything promised in the listing and more. The outer shell is 100% cotton and silky smooth and soft. The fill is polyester down alternative fibers. After opening the package and releasing the vacuum seal, the comforter puffs up nicely. I laid it out on a sofa, did a little shake-shake and hand fluffing to the individual panels and then let it be overnight to allow it to reach fullness. The size is perfect for a queen bed. It is lightweight yet substantial. This will be a great comforter for all seasons. Note that I am in Nevada where it is not super cold at night. So I cannot speak to that directly now, but I did live in Colorado for 20 years, and I think that unless you drop your night thermostat super low it would be fine. So for me, it is nice and cozy warm for winter and will be breathable cozy for the summer, especially when the cool air of the A/C kicks on. ** Note that Sunflower also sells a "lightweight" comforter. I tried that one first and it is basically a blanket/bedspread level of thickness and warmth and not a great choice for cool nights. The stitching of the box pattern is excellent and the silver border band is a nice added touch of elegance. I like the small box pattern at 10 inches square, which should help keep a uniform distribution of the fibers. As might be expected from the manufacturing process, there were a very small number stray fibers discovered in the process of unpacking and setting up, but see no evidence that there would be a mass exodus of them escaping the stitching. The fibers are like little fluffy balls that mimic down but are round. There are some 1 and 2 star reviews here on Amazon for this product where they say it is not cotton. These are false narratives by those that do not read carefully. The outer shell is 100% cotton and the fill is polyester. There are 2 tags and they state this clearly. It says it is washable but if one thought it would get that dirty and needing to be washed, it might be better to invest in a nice duvet cover and avoid that whole hassle. It also comes with a 10 year warranty which is great, and the price is terrific compared to the box stores or the mail order places. I recently stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Villages in Orlando. They had this wonderful lightweight comforter in a sheet like duvet (still looking for this). It was light weight so I didn't feel like I was tossing around in a massive horde of blankets. Soft enough that felt like I was covered in a cloud and kept me warm in my 62° degree hotel. It was like sleeping in a slightly heavier but not as slippery woobie. (If you know, you know. If you don't, it's a thin body regulating military blanket that slips around like an eel covered in soap) So I went to the website to buy this blanket. Low and behold, it wasn't on the website. Called the front desk and they said it had been discontinued. Just my luck. Housekeeping said the new ones were just as similar, so I went back to the website. But they wanted 300 dollars for a king? Are you out of your ever loving mind? No thanks. Jumped on here and found this one. It arrived today and it looks and feels the same. It's not EXACT, but it's one good knock off. Close enough to be very very happy. This is perfect for summer and a great addition for the winter months. (Stuff it into your duvet ONTOP of your other comforter for a cloud like experience during the winter. Doubling up is how you get that super fluffy luxury hotel style blanket.) Now I just need to find the sheet like duvet cover they used. Which is proving to be harder than expected. It's literally a sheet why is this is hard. If you want hotel quality, a soft blanket that isn't too hot or cold but still light weight, this is for you. Highly recommend, I'll probably buy it in other colors. **Update. September 3rd, 2025.** I've had this blanket for a hot minute now. No frayed ends. Goes in the washer and dryer just fine. Bleaches well when I do wash it. I love this and cannot believe the value! It is very well made, and I love the piping which is just enough support to the seam without making it stiff. I bought the twin XL in the thick version. I live in Phoenix but like to keep the windows open at night so it gets as low as the low 60s -- well, before global warming when it's still 91 degrees in November. (When does this end?) It's light weight and comfortable, and while warm enough though, it isn't too warm. It comes wrapped in shrink wrap and was a bit tight to wrangle out of the packaging, and it was so compressed that I didn't know if it would puff up, but couple of good shakes, and it did. I'll put it in a low dryer with the duvet after washing the duvet just to give it whatever lift it has left. As for the fabric, it is a good quality, high thread count cotton which feels like an Egyptian cotton, which means that it is so smooth it can feel slippery to some people. But it is definitely not poly or microfiber. I wouldn't put it in the washer unless necessary and think a duvet over it and turning it back for half an hour or so to let it and the mattress breathe is enough unless you go to bed filthy. (Take a shower; what's wrong with you?) I definitely recommend this. ... show more

I love this bed cover! I bought it to use as a duvet insert but discovered I liked it better than the duvet so I use it as a bed spread. I have the silver-gray thin version, full size, on a twin mattress. I measured, and it hangs 22" down each side of the bed. As for length, if I put the top right at the top end of the mattress, there's 12" left to hang over the bottom end. Which would be short for a regular bedspread but my bed has a footboard, so the length works great for me. It's soooo silky and soft to the touch! The color is called "silver gray" but it isn't shiny or metallic looking, more "dove gray". It moves easily over the sheets so bed making is easier. With how easy it is to maneuver during bed making you'd think it would be prone to sliding off but it doesn't. It's not thick and puffy but there is some weight to it -- not enough to make you hot but enough to keep it hanging evenly instead of sliding off when you turn over in bed. I paid forty for it and I see the cost has gone up, but it's good quality and worth the price (as of Dec 2025). The seller's photos are fine but it actually looks better on my bed than it does in the photos. ... show more

I ordered the thinner comforter and it's been perfect. Not too warm and not too flimsy. It really is soft and seems well made. I'm using it on an extra tall twin mattress and there's plenty of material to tuck and cover. Happy that it's cotton rather than synthetic.

Fantastic, great value. First, why are most comforters designated as "all season?" I live in the northeast, it gets cold, really cold. I want a winter blanket/comforter. So, I got an oversized king, despite having queen size bed, and ordered the "thick" version. It's wonderful. It's warm, soft and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this for such a relatively inexpensive product.
