  • Holds up to heavy use
Use it professionally on class8 trucks, haven’t broken it yet and use it all the time on steering gears.

  • Not for a 7.3 IPR but great socket!
I had ordered this to replace the IPR on my 7.3 Powerstroke. Unfortunately, while waiting for it to arrive, the IPR failed with a crank-no start. I had to get to the local shop to pick up a socket. I noticed at the shop, the impact version was too tight near the end for the IPR to pass through; so I got the regular non-impact socket instead which worked. This one arrived the next day, and was very similar; you can't get it down to the flats on the IPR to get it out. Just FYI. It's a great socket though otherwise! ... show more

  • Fits standard hitch bolt.
I used this to connect a 2" ball hitch onto a 3" riser for my lawn mower. The socket made tightening the nut on the shank of the 2" ball very fast and easy as compared to using the large wrench from HF. Would definitely recommend this.

  • Worked to remove and tighten 156 nuts that are at 450-500 ft/lbs. Didn't break.
I bought two of these just in case as some parts at this price just break. This socket held up great. Minimal wear and was used with a Milwaukee Fuel impact. Seems tuff enough.

  • Great replacement
I’ve used this socket a lot in the last month, and it’s held up to the abuse I’ve put it through
