  • Nice Little Unit
I work in a truck shop and needed something with a small footprint that would set on my toolbox and be loud enough to be heard over all the noise. This meets all those criteria. Not sure where the volume complaints are coming from on here. At first, I had the same problem till I maxed out the volume with the remote and, my phone. Then voila this thing rocks and all volume is easily adjusted via the volume knob or remote. I personally don't use the remote due to the grubby hand's thing. I tested the remote and had no issues it's a little sluggish but functions all tasks. I have it connected to a set of old home bookshelf speakers and it rocks. My only complaint might be the tuning, as I have not been able to just hold the button down to advance up or down the dial rapidly it's kind of a tedious process to tune in but it has an awesome memory. It is not constantly powered on my box but when I return after the weekend it goes straight to the last channel. The reception for both Bluetooth and radio is very good. No annoying loud voice when connected either as I have seen mentioned on similar units. All in all, I would buy it again and recommend it. It also has a 12 power supply which I have not tried but may come in handy for the hobbyist out there I was considering connecting a 12v toolbox light to it. Connecting is straight forward and easy with my Android phone. And yes if you need the instructions good luck you'll need a magnifying glass or the Hubble telescope dang that's some tiny print. But they sent me an email link for a video which I did not need. I found the unit straight forward and easy to operate without instructions and I'm no spring chicken. So if ya got through my rambling then buy it already. Also, the extended warranty is cheap ... show more

  • This device is fantastic. Solid BT connection thru garage wall rear of house 40' away
Great price and follow up from Sunbuck. They want you to be happy. Great sound, almost instantly connected to my iPhone. Took less than 2 mins for it to connect to Mac Pro Tower in the house ( SU 30 in the garage ). Decent sound. The treble and bass controls, actually work. Is connected to Polk monitor speakers. Great stereo separation. I contacted JS Electronics w question. Almost immediate response. Very very nice people. The 30 has much better BT range than the 60. The 60, better sound at lower volume, than w the 30. 180 vs 220 watts. Think, 38 watts RMS. In a room, both are clear and louder than most needs. From my garage, at 3/4 volume, door open, Can hear music across street in neighbor's back yard. These are both impressive work horses, with small foot print. Any issues, contact JS Electronics. They will make every effort to make things right. ... show more

  • Some things to be aware of Some things to be aware of
Purchased January 18th . It is now August 16th. 6 months of serious continuous use. Some bad things first Remote is pretty worthless. You need to laser line up the sensor perfectly. At dead levels ( in between songs during podcasts or low-level songs), the stereo clicks and makes crackling noises. I find this very annoying. You have to manually switch from media to the line connection by the knob on the unit. This switches the line connection from my TV to my 'media' Bluetooth or the radio. Not a real big deal but really? I play from a USB stick often but it does not show any file information just some buttons so you could advance the song or pause it. The volume played with the USB stick is 100% louder than anything Bluetooth so be aware. It plays instantly when you plug it in. It's good because you could use your Bluetooth for other things why you're listening to stereo music. Is there shuffle mode?? Confusing buttons, no instruction booklet, I tried going to their website where they say the instruction guide is but it was confusing I didn't have the time to deal with that BS The good points Overall the stereo sounds great. It pairs perfectly with my old thrift store 90s Panasonic system (built in 6" subs) speakers which I believe sounds comparable to what they make now a days. Soundbar and others. Just they're bigger which I like. the system has a lot of power and most times I only use it at half volume and it bumps hard! Don't even know if this has equalizers I think it does but I use the EQ on my phones player and i get the exact sound i want. I play all kinds of music. E d m, metal, shoegaze, hardcore punk , indie rock, Folk stuff, podcasts, lots of different YouTube videos, movies - through bluetooth and my tv, even the occasional CD also Games too, with my xbox patched in. The Bluetooth is noticeably louder then the TV connection but we just turn it up more. Note I think I left the stereo on too long and the Bluetooth connection was starting to go in and out this is the first time that's ever happened I thought it might have been my phone but I tried it on another speaker and there was no problem so I turned it off for about half an hour I'm playing it now and it sounds fine maybe it overheated? 6 months in. I really don't use the terrestrial radio since everything is online I have my digital radio stations so it's really kind of useless for me since I hate ads and DJs yapping away. And usually all my old programs stream now anyways. Overall I would say for my needs this was absolutely perfect. Great price, Great Sound is all I really want. Minus the radio and the worthless remote and the crackling noise. I had this hooked up in 10 minutes and was playing right away. Some hiccups, but yeah, recommended! ... show more

  • Great little receiver for a great price!.
Quick delivery. Item as advertised. Use for my summer cottage to listen to tunes outside at the campfire. Plenty of power to drive my outside speakers. Separate Bass and Treble for decent tone control. No issue connecting via Bluetooth with either my Brand new Galaxy note S23 or my 10 year old iPad. Have not tried Aux or CD inputs. FM tuner works decent. I am in a slightly remote area, so only get a couple of FM stations in. Maybe a better antenna would help, instead of the one provided. Really like that company emailed me and asked if everything was good, or if I had any issues. Don't get that too much today. A great $60 investment. ... show more

  • 10 watts continuous maybe, you get what you pay for as they say after a few fixes, But it works! 10 watts continuous maybe, you get what you pay for as they say after a few fixes, But it works!
I wanted a small bookshelf type receiver with Bluetooth and FM. I felt 200W was way too much but for the price I went for it. Hooked everything up and the right channel did not work. Just by accident I discovered that if I hooked both black wires to the L and right red to red and left red to left everything worked and appeared to be stereo. Very odd. Then I noticed by bookshelf getting scratched, upon inspection the screws holding the face plate on protruded below the stamped metal feet on the case. I covered screws with tape. Bluetooth connected to my iPhoneXs no problem. Very primitive remote does control it at a limited distance and angle. I has 2 microphone inputs which I have not tried and some DSP for those. Rear RCA inputs for CD or Aux. DC operation is possible. FM radio operated ok, nothing to brag on with primitive antenna. Sound quality acceptable, hooked up to Polk Audio TSi100 (30W continuous/100W peak, 89dB/W/m). However, if you are expecting 200W forget it. It is suppose to be 200W peak, I assume 100W per channel. I would estimate it to be no more than 10W continuous, maybe even less as at full power my speakers are not even straining. 3 stars because it does perform after some fixes acceptably (but with low power) and frankly how much can you expect from a $45 stereo receiver. ... show more

  • If you like bluetooth wireless - read this
Update 200 watts - not possible Bluetooth - can't be found Manual - can't be read Sound - mediocre at best Quality - non existent On the plus side all it shipped with all the knobs and it has a shiny black color. I got this 'receiver/amp' last year and I must say that if you like plugging unplugging, selecting from lists and generally manipulating technology this is a fine product. However, if you just want to turn the product on and listen to music while you do something else, run from this product. Run fast and run far. I usually end up listening on the laptop speakers or monitor speakers because the BT won't connect from one session to the next so if you close the lid, you will have to reconnect the amp, or not reconnect the amp. Success will depend on something like the phase of the moon, political whims of Nigeria, the model of car that just drove past or something, I can't figure out what. Rather heavy but would not function for a sailboat anchor unless it is the Geico Geico's luxury yacht. ... show more

  • Nice Receiver, would be good for RV conversion or office. 12 VDC or 120 VAC
I bought this little receiver for my office, I attend Zoom meetings and my previous Philips Streamium died, so I need a new amp. I found this little gem, it can run on 12 VDC which would be great in some basic RV uses. In my office, obviously I use 120 VAC to run it. I'm an amateur radio HAM (KK7RW), so I will attach it to 12 VDC in my backup system in my office at a later date. Great sound, nice controls and a great price! Added bonus is the power supply flexibility! ... show more

  • Great sound and great price.
The amplifier was shipped in excellent condition and installed as a replacement amplifier for an old broken one. It works great. Easy to set up and use. No instructions needed. Sound great. Love the dials in front. Don't have to scroll through menus to change settings. Haven't needed to use the remote. Attached it to a pair of AIWA powered subwoofer desktop speakers. Great amplifier for a great price. Would definitely recommend it. ... show more
