The woven solid design with an easy to hang grommet- top offers a classic style that fits in with any room decor while reducing light and noise for better sleep; help keep your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Room Darkening panels are made of materials that reduce light, and considerably darken the room. Some light will show through and varies by base color. These materials do not allow a view through and provide privacy. The darker the color the better the light reducing capabilities. These are NOT blackout curtains. Great room dividers! I live in a small cabin with a bedroom open to the living area. I ordered double the length of the bedroom opening (so 2 of the extra wide curtains were the perfect width) but found that the curtains look wide enough & full enough that I only needed one. Wondering what to do with the extra curtain, since they are grommeted I put them both back to back (so double layered). So now I have a wonderful finished look on both sides, great light-blocking (I am on night shift so sleep during the day), plus the double curtains (which go floor to ceiling with only two inches extra) provide insulation enabling me to very effectively heat only the bedroom while I sleep & the living area while I am awake. Very efficient & I am sure I will save more on heating costs than I spent on that extra curtain. I also have a normal width curtain across a cubby to create a closet space. And I put this same brand curtains on my front door window & the long window on the back door. I am very pleased & would definately order again. Quality is on par with much more expensive curtains. The beige (I forget what the official color name is) is a perfect shade--not too dark & not too light. Similar in color to natural sisel twine/rope/sackcloth but smooth & very nice looking. Perfect! The dark brown curtains are a bit darker than I was hoping for (they are the deep brown of a dark chocolate bar--not black but very dark). But they do provide privacy and quality at a reasonable price. Still, I'm glad I went with the lighter colored curtains for a room divider & closet door. Yes, I recommend them & would purchase them again. No, they are not black-out curtains but are very helpful at stoping a decent amount of light. Double them (back-to-back, then slide the curtain rod through both curtain's grommets at the same time) to greatly increase the light blocking & insulate windows/rooms. ... show more

I bought these for a sliding glass door. There are two 100” wide panels to cover a 6 ft wide door. They are fairly good at blocking direct sunlight on a southern exposure without making the room dark on a sunny day. The color is a very slightly reddish orange, but it does look obviously orange. They have plastic draw rods with each panel and the loops to hold them can be made to attach them together near the top with the split ring that comes with the rod. I have the rod on both panels and you cannot see either one when they’re opened or closed. I washed and ironed them before hanging up and had no issues with fading or losing shape. They were damp when I ironed them and the fold marks were easy to eliminate. I’ll see how they fare with sun fading in time. ... show more

"Sun Zero" is a complete JOKE. Unless they meant "Zero Sun Block". These curtains SUCK. We knew they might from reviews, just needed some privacy quickly. We *hoped* these would be re-usable somewhere else eventually. They won't be--the color is nothing like the picture, they are very GRAY and ugly. Maybe they look better all bunched up, but they look terrible spread across the window, and trust me, we bought enough feet for it to work if they weren't such lousy curtains. They LET THE SUN IN; we bought TWO panels. ONE PANEL HAD A BIG BLACK STAIN on it upon arrival. The 5 Stars is a MINUS FIVE stars. Here's my sincere opinion: If you just need to cover a window quickly and cheaply, this is not a terribly bad piss off of your money. If you believe a word they say about Sun block and quality, or even Color, you are a fool. Just use sheets or some other fabric and make do. Honestly, just hang up an old blanket--that would look better and block more sunlight. I'm quite annoyed by such fraudulent advertising, but as I said: we just needed something fast for privacy. Won't make this mistake again. What drove us to this was finding out that Pottery Barn wanted about $1500 for some fancy curtains, before we even knew what color we wanted to live with.
