The outer fabric of this pair of thermal curtains looks like a heavy silk. Although they are not the thickest thermals I own, their elegance and soft, muted color disguise their hard working purpose. Windows and their surrounds are the most challenging areas during weather temperature extremes. I hang thermals from the ceiling to the floor on a rod wide enough to pull them completely away from the windows when I want sunlight. These are opaque but not entirely light blocking. The wrinkles from folding in the package do not hang out completely, so either press with a warm iron or toss them in the dryer with a damp towel. The inset rings make hanging a snap. Comfort, elegance and an immediate ease to utility bills make these an economical and practical solution to climate extremes. They are washable but I haven't had to wash them yet. ... show more

I don’t post reviews unless I’m THRILLED by a product (or otherwise), and I sincerely love these curtains! I previously had the same version (from the same company) in their dark green color and loved them too…then I wanted to change up the look in my living room. It was a departure for me to go with yellow, but I’m so glad I did! They’re a beautiful color; muted in the evening shade, but in the morning the sun shines through so beautifully. Super easy to hang and the length is perfect (just dusts the floor). Very, very happy with them ... show more

I like the fabric, the grommets, the stitching, and the neutral color. The price was right too. They're short for my patio door, so I'll need to install them lower, at the same height as my vertical blinds. These curtains do not block light nor darken the room, but it does have good light filtering properties, even with two panels to give a fuller effect. They're not too heavy for my makeshift rod and custom brackets (we're still redecorating and rearranging this room so please disregard the clutter). The wrinkles will fall out naturally, which isn't a big deal for me since the curtains didn't have excessive wrinkles to begin with. I like them, they served their purpose. Also I recommend purchasing a pair if you're using them for a patio door. ... show more

Great room dividers! I live in a small cabin with a bedroom open to the living area. I ordered double the length of the bedroom opening (so 2 of the extra wide curtains were the perfect width) but found that the curtains look wide enough & full enough that I only needed one. Wondering what to do with the extra curtain, since they are grommeted I put them both back to back (so double layered). So now I have a wonderful finished look on both sides, great light-blocking (I am on night shift so sleep during the day), plus the double curtains (which go floor to ceiling with only two inches extra) provide insulation enabling me to very effectively heat only the bedroom while I sleep & the living area while I am awake. Very efficient & I am sure I will save more on heating costs than I spent on that extra curtain. I also have a normal width curtain across a cubby to create a closet space. And I put this same brand curtains on my front door window & the long window on the back door. I am very pleased & would definately order again. Quality is on par with much more expensive curtains. The beige (I forget what the official color name is) is a perfect shade--not too dark & not too light. Similar in color to natural sisel twine/rope/sackcloth but smooth & very nice looking. Perfect! The dark brown curtains are a bit darker than I was hoping for (they are the deep brown of a dark chocolate bar--not black but very dark). But they do provide privacy and quality at a reasonable price. Still, I'm glad I went with the lighter colored curtains for a room divider & closet door. Yes, I recommend them & would purchase them again. No, they are not black-out curtains but are very helpful at stoping a decent amount of light. Double them (back-to-back, then slide the curtain rod through both curtain's grommets at the same time) to greatly increase the light blocking & insulate windows/rooms. ... show more

I originally ordered 4 of these but only opened 1. The blush pink is more of a cool dusty pink, and would go better with grays and blues than browns and beiges. I wound up ordering similar deconovo curtains that cost me about $17 more for the total 4 I knew what I was getting into ordering the cheapest 95" curtains you can find on amazon. They are pretty thin, and expect the lines of sunlight that shine through your blinds to show through these. More crimps help, but these do a good job of softening and diffusing light. I didn't rate them higher because the panel I opened and inspected was actually slightly slanted at the bottom, as in it hung so that the left bottom corner hung just over an inch lower than the right. If you're tying these up to use as accent or letting them really pillow on the floor around the window, I don't think it would be really too noticable. I wound up returning all 4, but moreso over the color than the quality. The picture is of the two panels side by side. It's a clear bump in quality and the deconovo curtains are very near blackout in my west facing florida window in the summer, compared to the sunzero which were really barely passable as thermal curtains. The seams and stitching, as well as the backing are a much higher quality on the deconovo panel. You can also see the difference in the satin sheen, but really, a lot of these factors come down to preference, and they are a really affordable alternative if you don't need the heftier curtains. The return went very smoothy and I'm happy with the customer service, but I still want to point out the inconsistency in length, and the sheerness of curtains that are really going to disappoint people who look at the marketing and think they'll block a lot of light. ... show more
