This is our third purchase and I'm a huge fan. Our first one lasted 4 years with NON-STOP use. My son is a swimmer and dives year round. For diving this is a god-send as there are often long waits between dives at competitions and he just throws this over his head to keep warm. It's also been used for a quick change at the beach. We bought our second one so I didn't have to do laundry every night while in swim season. I bought the third one for our Caribbean vacation. It works great for, laying on a lounge chair, throwing it on as cover up, or using it for changing (not at high school meets that's against regulations) at the beach. I used it to get dried after a snorkel trip and I was the only one warm as we sped across the ocean to or boat launch. I had several people ask about it. The only thing I don't like is that it is bulky and weighs alot when wet...but it's a towel...they do that. Will probably always have at least one in the house while a swimmer/lifegaurd lives here ;-) ... show more

I am a sailor and swimmer who basically lives in the water. I wish I had this sooner it’s the perfect towel option for someone who doesn’t enjoy the new light weight towels that have a weird texture. Extremely well-sewn and well-designed. Comes with a large strong loop for hanging up/drying after use. All the seams are very beefy. Front hand pocket is great when you're standing around post-session. Really did not expect a level of quality this high.

I wear about a size 20-22 in womens and I’m 5’9”. This poncho towel fits me but I would prefer more room. If you wear a bigger size than 20 you may find it snug. It is pretty comfortable and not too heavy feeling when wearing. I love that I don’t have to hold a towel around myself (that will keep slipping off) at the beach anymore. ... show more

I got this to keep me warm after getting back onto the boat after SCUBA diving. Like the texture of the fabric and the fun blue color. Only issue with this is the weight of the material, which makes it a burden when trying to pack lightly for a trip.

This giant beach cover-up is fabulous! I love it! Keeps me warm after getting out of the water on chilly days. I do wrap another towel underneath to absorb most of the water. I'm using this as a post-swim robe rather than using a terry bathrobe as I have in the past. It's a lot lighter in weight than terry bathrobes. If I were a bit thinner and younger and more agile, I bet I could even use it as a changing tent. I'm short and it comes nearly to my ankles. Mine didn't have any odor as others have reported (and trust me, I complain about stinky products!) I really like the extra deep pocket in the front. Perfect for making sure my keys and phone and DL don't fall out when going to and from the water. Would buy again should the need arise. ... show more
