Description

The Summit Ultramax HP is an all-season ultra-high-performance tire that's built for use on SUVs and sport trucks. The Ultramax HP comes with a computer- tuned tread pattern that lowers road noises and vibrations and four high-angle tread grooves that remove that water to reduce the risk of hydroplaning and boost handling on wet roads. A solid center rib increases stability when driving at higher speeds, while also reducing road noises, and the Ultramax HP's silica-based rubber compound increases grip and lowers rolling resistance to fend off uneven wear and enhance fuel efficiency.

Back ground. I ame a full time rideshare driver. I bought these because my Tesla M3 goes through tires like crazy. I was spending 900 to 1200 on a set at costco or the Navy Exchange. These tires are a game changer. Not only do they have deep tread depth. they are will desinged and were quieter than the GoodYear EV tires I had ($1200). If ou are looking for good tires I think they are made in OHIO and want to save some serious cash get these. I tried last week to ge another set and they were out. I hope they come back again soon. Do not let the price fool you. These tires siund and ride better than the michelin run flats that came on my Mercedes. The grip and ride are just amazing. Save yourself a few grand and check these guys out for yourself.

These are very good tires but keep in mind if you’re a safe driver and the tires last very long with your driving habits focus on keeping them clean and lubed up with some tire shine on both sidewalls of the tires to prevent dry rot. Had a blow out with these tires today, I’ve had them for a year but they were dirty so the rubber dry rotted as a result. Like any tire do regular maintenance and cleaning. Probably would have kept them on longer if I cleaned them more often. ... show more
