  • POOR QUALITY
The oven we received did not have chrome handles like the picture, they are black. It had sheet metal damage on the top and several screws missing or falling out. The oven door had several problems including a very small gasket . I checked the oven gasket with a piece of paper and it pulled out too easily with the oven door shut with no friction. I noticed in the reviews that stated it created a lot of heat in the house. This might be the reason because if the oven door is not sealed with a good gasket the heat escapes into the house. Overall we returned the oven. Now, that is another matter. We had to send pictures of the damage and the pictures of the shipping upc and description codes on the box and returning it in the original box. Putting the oven back in the box was extremely difficult. I would not recommend this oven at all. ... show more

  • Excellent buy
No complaints. Although the bottom compartment is smaller than the one it replaced, it is still able to effective for my Christmas cooking; you just have to be clever in how you use it.

  • Not a good choice
Unfortunatly this type of built-in oven was really hard to find at a reasonable price. And one that was not the size I needed to fit our area where our old one sit. This unit was 1-1/2" narrower than the Magic Chef we previously had for 20 years. Now I have to redo the cabinetry to make it fit properly. When the unit finally arrived, I noted a damaged container to the delivery driver. There were noticable defects in the paint, the sheet metal was bent in the back. Before I installed the oven I noticed an aluminum sticker on the front of the oven covering up something. I pulled the sticker off and found the name of a different manufacture. Strange!! Being without an over for almost a month, I went ahead and installed the oven because we desparately need one. I wrote the seller and complained about the paint, damaged sheet metal and label. He called me after receiving my complaint. He ask If the oven was working and I said it was ok but I would like a replacement piece where the poor quality paint was. Haven't heard back. Oven is ok but it's not a Magic Chef. ... show more

  • check space for install, you need more than just the oven dimensions
The regulator extends 6" below the bottom of the oven, so major changes may be necessary in the cabinet below the oven. My prevous oven that this Summit model replaced had the gas regulator in the floor of the lower broiler.

  • A good oven for around $700
The media could not be loaded. This is a good Oven for around $700 but we’ve had it for about 2 1/2 years and the igniter have went out you only can get the parts from the manufacture so I order the part and put it in myself so my suggestion is to get the extended warranty here in my review I included some pictures of when I first got the oven and when I was installing it and also a picture of the safety valve that under it ... show more

  • There is no way I would recommend this product
Oven arrived in a cardboard box without any material to cushion. The glass is shattered and there was a dent in the upper left side of oven anf the side of instrument panel. The hour on the clock will not set. The minute and timer appear to be working. It is smaller than I expected from measurements. There is no way I would recommend this product. ... show more
