I am a boy mom and sling shots are like something that is second nature to each of them but I hate finding marbles everywhere and always feeling like a referee of making sure they use their targets and not each other as targets. These things are the best invention EVER and will never look at another marble: These are well made, great for slingshots and work no different than their marbles as far as shooting/aiming distance but they dissolve so marbles aren’t everywhere in the yard and less harmful than others options out there like marbles.     • Good for practice but too light for hunting
These are pretty good for just plinking and playing with a sling shot. Would be good for kids since they are not as destructive as metal or glass balls but they are too light for any serious marksmanship or hunting

    • Good quality and price
I use a sling shot to scare away magpies and squirrels and these do the job. The fly well and are a good price compared to metal balls.

    • It's Ok for it's priced.
Use them to chase away squirrels and Possums ( at night) from my fruit trees and vegetables. Worked well knowing it's bio degradable makes a big difference.

These smashable balls are nice for backyard target practice or on a walk in the desert since they're not going to rust or end up in an animal. That said it's a real pain to transfer 500 of them from the vacuum seal bag to my own tub so I took a star. Otherwise they're great! 5 stars. Thanks and have a good day! ... show more

    • Accurate for short range plinking
These clay balls come shipped in a bigger clear bag than they really need but all were intact when they arrived. These are perfect for plinking and you don't really have to worry about a ricochet with these. The weight of these is enough to accurately practice with but lighter than a steel ball.

    • A safer way to practice
This slingshot ammo is made of clay. In the ammunition world, projectiles such as these would be called “frangible”. This means that they break apart upon impact with a hard surface. Because of this, a dangerous ricochet is less likely. If you are accustomed to using ball bearings or glass marbles for target practice, you might find these clay projectiles to be less accurate at longer ranges. Because they have less mass, these clay projectiles leave the slingshot at very high velocity but start losing accuracy when your target is beyond 20 ft or so. Even though these projectiles were designed with safety in mind, they are not appropriate for indoor use and you certainly shouldn’t shoot them at another person. With that said, I can definitely see the utility of these clay projectiles. In short-range practice scenarios, these projectiles make the possibility of a dangerous ricochet much less likely. ... show more
