I bought this on recommendation from a friend. I had bought a GoPro helmet mount for my motorcycle, and the included 3M two-sided adhesive was not nearly strong enough to hold the GoPro to the helmet. It was simply too much leverage, and one day while riding, it fell off into my lap and thankfully I was able to catch it before it hit the pavement and got destroyed. I didn't know how I was going to seccure the mount after that, as I certainly wasn't going to trust 3M again. My friend suggested Sugru, which I'd never heard of before. So I tried it. Applied it to the mount surface, held it together on the helmet very tightly for several minutes, and that bond is ROCK SOLID. It is NOT coming off unless you want it to. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with a similar application. It's a godsend!

This is not something I use for fun and creative projects, it’s something that I use to save old products I won’t be able to replace. This fixed a ladder and a dog door and multiple charging cables. It’s easy to work with and holds strong. It’s not glamorous, it just plain works. I try to keep my things out of the landfill as long as possible and Sugaru is a great way to do it. It’s a lot like modeling clay and doesn’t leave a mess on your hands. It blended almost invisibly into the plastic of the ladder and holds strong, fixing a crack that made the ladder unusable.

I’m sure the product will work great for the intended purpose so 5 stars for the product. The problem is I only have a few weeks to use it. It expires 12/24 received on 11/12/24. If you purchase this beware of the expiration date when the Sugru arrives.
