I saw A LOT of reviews talking about the “tangle mess” but that may have been an exaggeration because set up was very easy. Like the commenters said, just don’t take off the twisties only when you have positioned the lights where you want them. •As far as hanging the lights, some people used hooks to hang, some people used tacs, some super glue, one could wrap the lights around the curtain rod however I just Used clear thick/wide tape. Easy peasy. For reference I bought 2 packs of lights. See photos. •Used one on two side by side windows •used another set of lights on the single window. Each pack of lights comes with 10 stringed lights. Comes with a simple remote. •8 different light settings (strobe effect, twinkling effect etc) Remote also has 3 brightness options. > low light >medium >very bright Calm warm ambient for my room and looks bright and eye catching from the outside! This is my first day using these lights so I will Update if i start having problems UPDATE: it’s almost been 3 months and I’ve had zero problems with the lights. They are just as bright as the first day. The only small thing I’ve notice is that SOMETIMES (not all the time) I hear a buzzing noise from where the usb is, where the lights are connected to. If I simply Just touch the usb, just touch it, buzzing noise goes away, when I lift my finger, it starts up again. if I grab The remote and change any settings, the noise goes away. It happens with both USB’s (I have bought 2 boxes of Lights). I have Yet to see any reviews about this ever-so slight buzzing noise. I hear It mostly at night when it’s quiet. This product lit up out of the box, so I began to hang it. As I was hanging it on the wall and carefully untangling the connecting strings to hang down, one of the protective sleeves on the LED electrode came right off in my hands and I touched the bare wire and felt an electric shock. The whole thing then shorted and burned out. When I went to unplug the USB plasticky part, it was extremely hot and it had only been plugged in for 10 minutes tops. How hot does it get when it’s plugged in for a few hours? I have a two-year-old at home. This doesn’t seem like a safe product at all for children or pets, or even very careful adults simply trying to install it to hang on a wall. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Cute but the quality of the set you receive may be a gamble. For the price, I guess that’s what I should expect. The light flickers whenever the very thin cord is moved in any way, like the connection isn’t very strong. If you can, plug it in somewhere where the cord won’t be messed with. Good luck if you have small children and/or pets! Update: I am changing my review from 3 stars to 4. The seller reached out to me and offered to replace my lights for no charge, but since they were kind of a hassle to unravel and hang in the first place, I ended up just plugging it in somewhere a little more hidden so that the cable isn’t constantly being slightly moved around. That’s good enough for me and fixed the flickering issue. I appreciate the seller’s offer, hence the extra star. If you get a bad set, I’d try reaching out to the seller, since they seem willing to help. If you get a good set, this is a great deal! ... show more

Love love love these lights. Definitely highly recommend! Comes with remote that works great, and there’s many options to change how the lights work. They can blink fast, medium, super slow. They can blink or start still. Best thing is that the main wires in which the lights that hang down are attached too are zip tied together. So it’s not a big mess of strings. I left them zip tied. I wrapped that main string around the rod. They really are beautiful. Easy to install. Color is a warm white color. Good amount of lights included. Buy them! I wish it came with a charging cube. That’s my only con. It just comes with the wire that’s a USB. In addition to the remote there’s a button on the top of the usb part which can be used to turn it on and off. ... show more
