Absolutely Gorgeous

Overview: I am so pleased with this dress. It is beautiful. Purchase Purpose: I wore this dress for family photos. I have gained weight recently and was not thrilled about trying to find something to wear. Finding this outfit, though, was a huge blessing. Fit: The only down side was the dress was a tiny bit loose under the armpits but not to the point where I couldn't wear it. I am in between sizes I think so I went on the looser side. I felt so nice in this dress and was amazed at how flattering it was (even without shapewear to be 100% transparent ha...). I feel like I look pregnant in a lot of clothes right now, but this one fit just right with the way it is designed. It is rare to say this, but I think this dress can flatter so many different body shapes and types. I am average height and the dress hit about to the floor (which I prefer), but I did add some height with shoe selection. Wear/Usage: That said, I probably would recommend shapewear and a good strapless bra that does not sit too high up. For what it is worth, I wore high-waisted white leggings under this because I wanted to be really sure it was not see through and did not want to mess with a slip. You could not see them through the dress, and I felt more comfortable doing that. Satisfaction: I bought this item on sale, and I immediately ordered two more dresses of the same design but in different colors, also on sale. I got a black one to have on hand for funerals. It can be worn as is in spring or summer or have a cardigan added for colder temperatures. I also found some beautiful earrings and tall wedges also on here to pair with the dress that I was very happy with. Overall, I am really pleased with the quality and the value of this product. Laundering: I washed my dress on a hand washable cycle with delicate detergent. I removed it promptly from the washer and hung it to dry. So far that has worked well and has not stretched the straps or led to any bleeding of colors. I might drape it over the hanger next time, but delicately, so as not to snag the fabric on the hanger. That might have less wear on the straps over time. Material: Online it says in the product description that solid colors are 95% cotton and printed dresses are 95% polyester. My printed dress said 95% cotton. I think it might have been mislabeled as it feels like polyester. I definitely prefer the breathability of cotton normally. I leaned toward solid colors to have on hand in subsequent purchases. I was willing to wear polyester in the family photos (hence no star off with mislabel). I would just like to know the product is labeled accurately though. Product Restock: I wish they would bring that gorgeous stripe dress back that there are a lot of reviews on (was listed as a floral but it is bright stripes with hot pink as one of the main colors). I would buy it immediately if they brought that dress design/color back. Product Recommendation: I would also especially like to request a design similar to the one with the large tropical looking blue flowers (the one I bought) that is teal, turquoise, and aqua in color. With this design those hues would be gorgeous for summer. Print or Solid: I do think the prints hide tummy and hip areas a bit better than the solid colors. However, I really like the solid colors, too, especially for the cotton aspect. Ultimately, I am thrilled with this purchase! I hope this review helps you!!!

Can I just say this dress is amazing. Not to mention the compliments, but the fabric is nice, soft and not clingy. Perfect for warm weather. I wore it with the jacket because it was for church, with will also wear without. Edit: I’m so embarrassed about the clothes hamper. Meant to edit it out.

Pretty dress, flattering fit!

Yay a long flowy dress that is figure flattering. This is one of those dresses that makes you feel pretty. It fits so well you want to wear it all the time. Love how the bodice is thoughtfully made with no arm hole gaps, an adjustable tie neck and the waist is nipped in just enough to be flattering. The fabric has a good feel and flow too, will be fun to dance in. It is definitely a maxi length, I'm 5'6" and it touches the floor. I wish it had pockets, came in various lengths and in more colors and patterns so I could buy more of these. Like this dress that much, definitely recommend!

Perfect for wedding guest

I needed a dress for a wedding, but am not one who will wear a dress so I was extremely nervous to wear this. It was so comfortable and looked amazing, while still being very simple. It was really comfortable - it kind of felt like a plain fabric t-shirt. I was expecting it to be too long for me, but I was able to wear a pair of Birkenstocks without the bottom of the dress touching the ground. I'm 5'3 for reference. It sat just slightly above the ground, which is what I was going for. I found that it was a little bigger than I expected though. I prefer clothes to be a little bit more snug, but originally I got a medium and the chest/underarm area was too big . The small fit like a charm. I would absolutely wear this as a casual dress as well.

Better quality than expected

This dress is beautiful and a great weight(thickness) of fabric. It does not cling to your body and you can’t see through it. I got tons of compliments and I was asked multiple times if I had lost weight! For the tall girls that are around 5’9” this is a good long length - just above the ankle.

If you have broad shoulders it's not a win

GAH! Was hoping this dress was going to be a WIN, and it can be for someone that doesn't have broad shoulders. Made me look even more broad across the shoulders and upper chest. Colors were very cute, length was great for a tall person (5'10), light weight and flowy. Arm pits were a little gapey. Sadly it just wasn't flattering for me. Had to send it back.

I used the size chart and bought a medium, I'm usually a size 10. Not see through, comfortable, found using a sticky bra looked the best. Many compliments. Would buy again! Price is right, JUST BUY IT!

This is an adorable dress but...

This dress is very well made and not sheer at all. For reference, I am 5'6", 137 lbs. I'm between a small and medium. I ordered a medium. The dress fit beautifully except at the waist where it was too tight and clingy. I got this dress for casual wear. So I didn't want to wear a Spanx. Unfortunately, even though I had on no-show panties, you can see all the lines at the waistline. I wanted to love this dress because it really is beautiful, but not for me.
