I needed a microphone under $40 that had a connection to my aux in my android. The sound comes out clear. I loved the other cords such as the c-connecter. It's amazing this package was under $40 since it includes a stand and other materials that would have made this $50.

Super amazed by this product I was honestly skeptical about it but decided to give it a try. So i received the item and man blew me away with how good it picks up your voices especially when you get up close and personal. It even picks up sound from another room which is neat. say you want to record more than one person in the room it would do it no sweat. I would of gave it 5* but gave it 4* because my item came defective. I mean just the pop sound diffuser thing it comes with. I don't know the proper name for it so sorry in advance but anyways make sure it screws on well and works well before getting your hopes up as I did. Luckily I was able to find the part at home depot and did not to return the whole thing which I did not want to to do since the microphones was amazing. All in all good product is good. just replace some of the parts with better quality stuff. Hopefully my photo can explain a but better than my words. I had to replace the tiny screw that's inside of the black pop disfuser it was cheap material and replaced it with a better more secure part. Also almost forgot one thing I am an ios device user and it works flawlessly as you can see my little ghetto set up in my photoI am using special edition beats connected to the mic and the aux to my phone. It's rare for me to leave a review but this I had to give props it was only $20-$30 really really good for beginners. Edit: so today is my second time using the microphone and I noticed one thing!!! I changed my 4* to 3* because of the fact that as I was using it to capture my voice when screen recording on my ios device it didn't pick up my voice as clearly and heard ton of static. Yes I turned the volume up yes I tried it with Bluetooth on/ off and it all came back the same. So my guess is this device is only meant to be used for ios with both the aux / headphone jack. It cannot be used with only the aux cable aka 3.5mm aux to lighting cable. I'm going to test it out more once I get home. But for now don't purchase if you want to screen record and not have to carry headphones. You'll have to carry your whole set up to record nice crisp sounds. ... show more

The microphone has a nice gold color and feels solid with metal build. It has a battery so can be easily connected to phones and tablets without need for the USB power source. The power switch has a light indicator when turned on. The package comes with a nice stand, pop filter, and extras. The stand has rubber band attachments on top for holding the mic. I had to push the mic through the bands to hold it in place. Another way would be to put the bands on while the mic is being held in place with your hand. The sound quality is good with the built in noise reduction and pop filter attachment. I noticed the sound quality was consistent even when moving real close to the mic and moving back and forth while speaking. Also, the echo feature on this mic has a good range for adjustment. ... show more

I had bought as a gift for my daughter, 1st one wasn't connecting to the headphones correctly, so returned and re-bought a 2nd time. Second one doesn't connect to both sides of head phones same as the original. Not sure if we'll try again, 1st 2 were previously returned, so possibly the reason for problems.
