I have 4 wobble stools in my classroom. 3 out of 4 have lasted through the school year. 1 broke. I find that if my high schoolers lift the seat up all the way and lean on them, it will warp the plastic at the bottom.

After about the millionth heart attack that my son was going to topple over from tilting his chair back at the table...it finally occurred to me to look for something else. We previously had a wobble cushion but he didn't like using it. This is the perfect solution for my constantly moving, very clumsy ADHD/autistic kid. It helps him focus better doing homework as well. This chair is not sturdy. I have bought two and both are defective at the base. The plastic cracks at the seal. This in NOT worth $100!!!! My students were avg size. Bought this for my 6 year old who has hearing loss and vestibular balance struggles. Hoping we can use this chair to encourage core balance before we try to master bike riding this summer. Especially since this chair and bike riding use similar core/hip muscles for maintaining balance. First impression, he didn’t like sitting in it initially. However about an hour later, he’s sitting on his chair spinning and playing a video game. Im feeling very hopeful about this. Biggest waste of money I’ve ever had. I purchased one of these for my child who has focus and attention issues because he has used one at school previously. He is in fifth grade and weighs less than 100 lbs, within a month the cheaper plastic base broke and rendered the whole chair unsafe for him to use. I could tell it was terrible quality from the moment it arrived but he said it felt similar to the ones he had used at school, turns out I should have returned it like I wanted to.
