Pretty solid product but the drywall anchor come with it is absolutely trash. I drilled the holes the wall and tried to screw in the anchors according to rhe instruction. Turns out it’s a type of self-drilling anchor? I figured out it is going to punch a huge hole on the wall without actually locking in so i immediately pulled it out. Swapped to regular drywall anchors and they works fine. This is probably the worst anchors I’ve come across, just get your own anchors, they will work fine. ... show more

My wife and I have wonderful cats in our home and that makes floor stand Guitar holders very impractical, (Guitar Sitting in stand, instant cat toy when you’re not around). So these Guitar Keepers are the perfect way to have quick and easy access to our instruments and keep them safe. Not only that, the way we arranged them in our home music room they add a wonderful look to our beautiful instruments. We chose to buy 2 strips of some exotic wood and mount 2 of these on each strip spaced just enough apart. They are easy to install, swivel enough to accommodate various size necks and hold our instruments very nicely.     • May need to bend the prongs to fit a wide classical/extended range neck

Watch out if you have a wide-neck guitar. My classical guitar does not fit in the mount. Edit: I was able to pull the prongs a bit wider apart with my hands so this probably isn’t a big issue

These hangers look great (discreet) and we’re relatively easy to install. Wanted to make sure my loved and valuable guitars would be safe hanging on the wall - and they are! Very sturdy. The wall anchors that come with the hangers are super!

Update: After returning my first order, which was short 2 hangers, I still needed the hangers. And to be honest, these hangers aren't really available locally, so ultimately I decided to take a chance that if I reordered the same item(s), they might get it right the 2nd time. I'm happy to report that I received the new order today, and everything is as it should be - I received all 3 hangers, and they were in perfect condition. As I had mentioned in my initial review, String Swing makes great gear, and I've used their stuff for many years. Hopefully the previous fulfillment issues are a thing of the past, but should you have any problems with your order, I can attest that they issued my refund promptly, and when I reordered, everything was perfect. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original review: I had the exact same problem the other 2 reviewers had...I ordered this item, which is clearly described as a 3 pack, and received only 1 hanger, and it was taped up, same as the other reviewer. I have since taken the package back to UPS for return shipping, and will await my refund. That issue aside, String Swing makes excellent products. I have used their hangers and other products for years, and have been exceptionally pleased with the quality. In fact, I currently have 13 of these exact hangers on the wall in my man cave, and need a few more (hence this order, which went awry). I honestly think they make some of the best gear, especially in the realm of guitar hangers. They truly are an industry standard, and I will definitely order from them again. Pretty disappointed in this order though, especially given that this mix up apparently keeps happening, and the problem has not been rectified. Get it together, guys!
