I ordered STRICH's Keyboard Piano 61 Key, Full Size Electric Piano Beginner Electronic Keyboard with Sheet Music Stand for Adults, SEK-600 in Black. I am thoroughly impressed! As someone who has never owned a keyboard, I find playing a few notes fun and entertaining. Having fun with the grandkids when they come over is also a blast. The sound quality is impressive; no one can walk by without turning it on and playing a few keys. I continue to learn about many controls and functions, and I may soon invest in lessons to fully take advantage of all it has to offer. Additionally, the keyboard is lightweight and durable, making it perfect for transporting or moving to different rooms. This is a great keyboard for the price. I would say this would be good for practice or for a beginner. I don’t have a huge house so I wanted something smaller than a piano to practice at home. I don’t really have a use for the microphone, but I did plug it in and it worked and only had a tiny bit of feedback.

In my day, there really was no "try" the piano. Your parents got you lessons and you went to them and practiced like crazy so you didn't get yelled at the following week by your piano teacher. Nowadays things are a bit "nicer." My grandson decided he wanted to "try to play" the piano after playing a little at my house. Obviously I am not going to run out and buy him a baby Grand - so enter this keyboard. This, along with a few basic lessons, should be enough for him to decide if the Piano is right for him. Love that it has the stand, stool and everything he needs to get started (aside from the instructor.)

Opened it up and played for a while upon receiving. My first impression of this keyboard was that it just felt cheap. It's very light, and the materials, build, and overall feel of the unit just gives the impression of being mass-produced and mediocre quality. This feeling is reinforced by the feel of the keys... they are really bad. No other way to put it. They are spongy and mushy and the actuation point is extremely vague. Imprecise, inconsistent, whatever word you want to use to describe it. The end result is a keyboard that is difficult to play fast, difficult to play softly, and just not a very enjoyable experience for the player. The sound quality also leaves a lot to be desired. This is most likely due to the cheap, small speakers included on the board. If you run this through some external speakers I'm sure it would sound much better. The included tones are nice. Some of them sound really cool in fact. The ability to make your piano sound like an electric guitar, pipe organ, or something totally strange like the quacking of a duck is one of the main reasons to get a keyboard in the first place. I love experimenting with different sounds and tones. There are over 100 of them included but unfortunately not all are listed on the board - it only lists the first 30 or so tones and then beyond that you're just guessing. Maybe somewhere there is a full list? Sure would've been nice if they included all the tones or at the very least a QR code stamped on the board somewhere that could display all the tones available. Despite my complaints this keyboard could be a good option for a child just starting out on the piano, were it not for the high price. I feel the asking price is way too expensive for a keyboard of this quality - if you just need a beginner board you can find one as good or better than this one for under $100 at a retail department store. Overall - I'm just unimpressed. There are a LOT of keyboards out there at this price point and I've played many that feel much better than this one. Hopefully the manufacturer is still refining and improving this product for future models.

This 61 key electric keyboard bundle is a really good deal. It has everything in it you need to start. It includes the keyboard, stand, bench, and a microphone. I wouldn’t call is a top-notch keyboard, but it is great for beginners. Would make a great gift for the new and upcoming piano player.
