Being fussy about the condition of all my footwear I have used shoe and boot trees for over 60 years and strive have Dack Brogue dess shoes that are over 40 yrs old and in exceptional condition due to the care taken in keeping them properly polished on a biweekly basis. Highly recommend using trees to maintain the shape of all of your shoes and boots. Given the price of quality footwear by the top brands this is or should be a necessary ritual to protect your investment. My daughter has a pair of high-end skates. The only problem with them is that they're just a little bit tight and require shoe trees to keep the toe box from contracting after use. I searched and searched all over the internet and these were the only shoe trees that were the right size and had the right dimensions to do the job. Did I like having to pay $50 for them? Absolutely not but it's a quality item that took care of our problem and that's worth something.

So these are boot shoe trees. If you don't know, now you know. What is their purpose? To keep the shape of your boots while keeping the smells to a minimum. There is no spray or scent added, merely, the cedar scent will absorb moisture and leave you with a pleasant scent afterward. Make sure you get the proper size for your boot, you should if you can afford to, not wear the same boot everyday. Moisture from your feet will eventually be the downfall of your shoes, so take care of them by taking your feet out of them and allowing the boot to air out. This shoe tree, will effectively serve as your foot. It will hold the shape of your boot up, so it doesn't look bumpy. Also, all aesthetics aside, if you do not wear your boots for a long time, they will conform to the nothingness, or the AIR inside your boot. Meaning, your boot will not fit well next season. So, if you are in cold weather area where you only wear boots once a season, these are a must. They will keep your boots in a firm proper shape, prevent your boots from smelling bad on the inside, and keep your boots looking well on the outside!

Bought from twice. First was for a lady's pair of doc martens which are made poorly so everything you can do...right? Anyway, those arrived in lightning speed...it was next day I believe. They were the medium Stratton shoe trees. Awesome. The second order was for myself (seeing how good these were I had to). I wanted them for my Thursday Boots hi top horween leather sneaks and wingtip boots (which I had previously used regular shoe trees in with some cardboard to support the uppers...not ideal). Long story longer, that order took some weeks to get to my door. I assume the size was not in stock (got the biggest ones this time). I was patient, of course...there won't be any communication on this platform except for when the expected delivery times are exceeded. Well, just be patient like I was if this happens to you. I believe they are worth the wait. When you do get them, fast or slow, you will enjoy opening the box and releasing that lovely cedar smell. Glorious. To those that love and want to protect your hi tops... I would recommend these without hesitation.
