I like the Xpand No Tie laces because, for more classic sneaker styles, they offer a look that is closer to standard white laces. I recently put a set a new set of classic lace up Vans. I liked the idea of being able to slip these on while still having the look of being laced. I did not use the enclosed clips, opting to instead to get the stretch level right where I wanted it and then double loop the laces in the topmost hole to ‘lock’ them in place. Then I finished them off with a standard shoe tie loop. My only downside with these is the caveat to make sure that you don’t cut off the excess length of the laces until you’re completely sure you have them where you want them. Once these are cut, getting the frayed ends through the lace holes is very difficult. ... show more

I've had several pairs of these laces, and now I order a pair whenever I buy a new pair of shoes. They're comfortable and durable. They make slipping shoes on and off simple. And I really like the clean look they provide. One suggestion though: after you cut the excess lace off, melt the ends of the laces. Otherwise, they can start to unravel with time. These laces are perfect for keeping shoes feeling snug enough while also staying trendy with the loose fit. They don’t look elastic at all. The non-slip clasp that fits inside the shoes are brilliantly designed. I’ve been wearing them for weeks without any trouble.

I was worried the shoes might be hard to get on or too loose once I got them on but Im pleasantly surprised! It's easy to get your shoe on and off while still keeping your shoe tight for walking. Really happy, I want them on all of my shoes. (They even work with my high top vans)

I love my sneakers but I have found myself wearing them less now that I am chasing after toddlers all day. These laces turned my sneakers that had been sitting unused into my everyday footwear again. Easy to install. The laces can have their ends hidden in the shoe or visible on the outside depending on your preferences. And you can adjust the fit easily and quickly if you change your mind down the line. I have already upgraded all my current sneakers and will probably upgrade every future pair as well.
