Defective oil pumps.
Oil pump makes a whirring noise when pre oiling engine. Too late for return so Amazon won't let me contact seller.

Old shaft style fit tighter
Modern drive shaft has no retainer for pump so is very loose fit. Don't like the redesign. Loose means easier failure

the pickup tube does not fit the oil pump.
I like that the distributor shaft has a metal caller. bur when assembling it parts, the pickup tube does not fit the pump.
