Is less noisy than some pumps and works well on initial use. The extension Amazon recommends, item ET10000-F, does fit this pump but you have to remove the second joint from the bottom to screw it in. The first joint is a hose adapter and the second is an anti drain back “valve” that is already on the extension. Once you do the threads match up and it all goes together. ... show more

This is a very solid and robust transfer pump that is well suited for any 55+ gallon drum. It is industrial enough to last for years and pumps thicker oils like 80w gear oil just fine, even in cold weather. I would highly recommend it for both commercial and residential applications.

Nice high quality product that feels like its built to last a lifetime. Havent got it hooked up yet but can't wait to get it installed it should really save me a lot of time . Wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone just by looking at it as its a really nice peice in my opinion
