They fit great. The front hip pockets could be about an inch deeper but the overall design with its 3 zippered pockets, 2 in the rear and 1 in the front right thigh area and 1 velcro on the left thigh makes it easy to carry all things safely and securely that are important to men, including phone, money car keys and other essentials. The fabric is light weight, a bit stretchy and seems to repel anything that might cause nominal stains in other shorts. I've been ordering something closely resembling these cargo shorts from Walmart, Wrangler label, but these have those beat by 100%. Also the fabric on these new shorts don't seem to nick on things encountered on a normal hike in a more densely natural habitat. I first bought size 34 like I did with the Wrangler version but had to return that pair for a size 36. I received that pair and they fit perfectly, so I ordered 3 more pair in different colors, grey, tan and muted green. Since men don't carry purses like women these shorts keep up with our valuables safely and securely and don't resemble the cargo shorts of 10-20 years ago. I've taken the time to write this review because I know first hand how hard it is to find men's shorts that meet all the above expectations. These are also just dressy enough for a golf outing or a caual dining out experience. Try a pair, one size larger, and see if they work for you. Cheers 🍻.

My husband immediately fell in love with these shorts. They are comfortable, great material; and what he loves best .. zippered thigh pockets. What I love about them is sun & water-resistant material. I "hate" ironing and have learned the art of spritzing wrinkles out with a spray bottle of water, and I didn't even have to do that. Awesome! The shorts look very nice on. These shorts are not too tight around the middle; however, these are very comfortable. He is very pleased with them and undoubtedly will be wanting more of this brand. So, with that being said, I'm pretty particular how my husband looks on the outdoor activities such as cherry pickup.

I like the look and fit of these shorts. My main issue is the rear pockets are oddly positioned, make your wallet and other items sit too low. This forces you to directly sit on whatever is on your pocket. It's not the end of the world but it can be annoying and less comfortable compared to other shorts/pants
