This thing clears sod like a beast. Will take you a very long time to do by hand but it gets the job done if you can't afford a tiller or similar tool. This small patch was done in about 1-2 hours, makes for a good workout!

This arrived with the opening of the head handle being off-round, bent in slightly. The handle rod could not fit into the head. Had to use a vise and pliers to straighten out the bent part; otherwise would have had to return. Of course that slightly scratched the paint surface. Easy to put together after that. The hoe tines and hoop seem to be made of strong metal. The head has a heavy coating of paint, hope it lasts. The edges of the hoop are sharp. The options for the handle length are nice, as is the hole in the handle to hang it on a wall. The prongs are further apart than i would like so kind of useless for moving stones. I guess a shovel is best for this anyway. I am not sure what people use this for but when i try to use in garden i end up putting it down and using something else.
