  • AMAZING!
I wish I knew about these sooner. These make my mobility scooter SOOO much safer and more comfortable to use. In comparison to the stock tires, these feel like floating on a cloud and the traction is SOOOOOOOOOOO much better. It's now much safer and easier to roll around town when it is raining or in places where there are bumps. ... show more

  • Great product
The ride is much better than the smooth cart tires that comes with the SegWay, well worth it.

  • Quieter, Better Ride, Less Vibration
These tires are great. They have improved grip to the pavement. They are much quieter. The original “slicks” that come with the S-Max sound like a Big Wheel with all the crunching noise of road grit. These tires are infinitely better.

  • Makes a big difference!
Easy off with the slicks and easy on with the comfort tires. Not as soft as my original pre Segway ninebot air filled tires. But no more worries about flats.

  • Great traction
Still not the softest ride but the traction is hands down better than the drifting tires that come with it. Strongly recommend!

  • Much more comfortable for self-balancing
If you plan to use your S-Max as a stand alone self-balancing scooter, rather than as the motor for the Gokart accessory, these tires are a must. No idea why the S-Max comes with the rock hard/smooth "Drift" tires, even not when bundled with the Gokart. Those are horrible for use in self-balancing. The ride is rock hard and jittery and they have terrible traction on anything but perfectly smooth/dry pavement. I guess that's a benefit so the gokart can slide around easier, but absolutely NOT what you want when used as a segway. The "comfort" tires are what it should have come with when purchased on it's own (not bunded with the gokart). They have a similar tread to the air filled tires on the other segway/ninebot scooters and work well in most conditions you're likely to use a segway. Obviously you can't adjust how firm these solid tires are, but they feel about as stiff as a pneumatic tire around 40-45psi, or pretty much the max. I generally preferred to run my MiniPro a little softer- more around 30 for a smoother ride at the expense of a bit of range, but these are still a ton better than the rock hard "drift" tires it came with. Much less fatiguing to ride. ... show more

  • An absolute MUST for the Ninebot S-Max
Short Review: get these tires if you don’t want to get hurt, the drift tires that come stock are a huge safety hazard, it’s atrocious that Segway ships these as stock. I had a bad fall and sprained my wrist within a day of getting my Ninebot, simply because I went off pavement and the drift tires have zero traction when they hit any sort of loose soil. These comfort tires actually have tread, and are MUCH safer with the increased traction. Longer Review/Tips for Install: super easy install, I was expecting more of a challenge. The most tedious part is going to be removing and screwing back in the 6 bolts that hold the hubcap on. If you have a power tool + 4mm hex attachment, you will reduce the time for this install by 60-70%… it’s a lot of thread on these bolts. CAUTION: the head of these bolts are soft metal, and will very easily strip out, be sure you have your wrench seated all the way into the bolt head. Tip: pick your Segway up and place it on one of the tires to get the wheels clearance off the ground. Some folks on the forums complained that the tires were a challenge to remove… that was not the case for me, the drift tires slid off effortlessly, and the new ones the same going on. Maybe because this Segway is only a week old. I’ve already taken it off-road in the sand right after install, and no faceplant this time. 10/10, would recommend. ... show more
