Overall we are very happy with this purchase. The table is sturdy and well-designed. The package arrived with many rips and tears in the cardboard box, which had me worried, but the table inside was well protected and was undamaged. Unpackaging and assembly takes just minutes. The legs have leveling feet to adjust for uneven floors. The table top is very smooth and plays well. Even though this is not full size, it is definitely playable and we are enjoying it. The table is basically two half tables that you place next to each other. They are sturdy and heavy enough that they do not separate apart during playing. To store the table all you need to do is remove the net posts (clamped with thumbscrews) and then separate the two half tables, tip them on their sides and fold their legs in. My only complaint is that the hinge that connects one of the 8 legs was not attached to the bracket that is screwed into the table. This suggests that the factory inspection/quality control could be improved. Since it is a rivet bolt, it is not something we can reattach ourselves. This did not compromise the table's usability and we have been able to use it with no problems. However, in the long term it should be fixed so I called customer service and they offered to replace the table. That seemed like overkill to me since otherwise the table was in perfect condition and we were very happy with it, so I decided that I will simply make a trip to the hardware store and install my own bolt using a locking nut and I am sure that will do the job fine. I would also mention that the clamps that attach the net posts can scratch the table top; I fixed that problem using some adhesive-backed felt. Other than the minor problem with the hinge, we are very happy with this table.

Overall this table went beyond my expectations in any way. We got it 5 days ago and I am not lying if I say we played for at least 10 hours combined since. I didn’t want to deal with a full size table for variety of the reasons so I decided to go for a mini. I did research online and STIGA mini tables seemed to be have best features including adjustable feet height which if you live in older house are must have otherwise table halves will not align. It took me literary 5 minutes to open the box, set the table and install the net, no assembly of any kind needed. I played on a smaller tables in a past so I knew what to expect, however this table stands out simply because of its appearance and quality build. Surface finish is very nice and ball bounce is incredible, it sounds exact same as a full size table. When it comes to playability you want to look at this table from a perspective it is a mini. In essence you can pull all moves and spins as you would do on a full size, however you need to be gentle and more precise. For example two skilled players can step back 3 feet from table and exchange pretty fast balls for a long time. Tweaking your serve on a smaller table means you’ll be unbeatable on a full size and same goes for top and back spins. When it comes to kids I think smaller tables help them became better players as well, lucky shots often work on a full size tables but definitely not on minis. Lastly, racket rubber quality is a very important, especially on a shorter table, so I suggest getting a pair of very good rackets, stiga, joola, butterfly, etc., same applies to balls, get a nice three star balls.

Okay, so we don't have a lot of space in the house for a full-sized table. I did some shopping around and considered an outdoor table, and other elaborate schemes, but these seemed to be a huge hassle and the high cost was a factor. I found this one and it suits the need perfectly. Because of the size, we do spend more time on the "short game", but you can still get quite a workout. It has been thoroughly entertaining. The quality of the table is rock solid. It has substantial weight and the surface is as good as any of the other high end tables I've played on. The surface is very smooth and makes the appropriate sounds when playing. The legs fold up to make for a very easy stow, but I can see using this as an alternate work surface should the need arise. We leave out as a quick alternative to video/computer/cellphone games. The metal framing and legs are made of a strong box tubing, providing confidence of durability. Setup was short: We were playing inside of 5 minutes of unboxing. It is in our basement, but I can see relocating this to a more inviting or larger room. I should have bought this years ago.

Great table for small play spaces. Looks better than expected, with very sturdy, commercial style table legs. Adjustable leg ends eliminate any wobble and make the table absolutely solid. It's actually two tables that you push together. They do not connect in any way with the net clamping on to either table or if level, like ours, it clamps between the two perfectly. The net and hardware is well made and easy to install. We chose the wood decor top, which looks nicer than expected. The only reason for a missing star is that the box arrived with a ton of damage and while the product survived AMAZINGLY well considering how bad the box looked, there was a very small black plastic corner protector that had cracked a piece off. Luckily it was so small, I can glue it back on. Other than that, it was perfect. We purchased the paddle set with 6 balls from the same brand and they are good quality. The family loves it and honestly, for the price, I don't think you can beat it. The larger tables are far more expensive, won't store as easily, and are not really useful as regular tables (if you needed them for something else). I recommend this table and if you are open to the wood grain style top, you won't be disappointed.

So glad I bought this Stiga table. I had a Killerspin regulation table but it barely fit in my rec room. A friend told me that smaller tables were available, so I immediately started shopping for one. I love ping pong and if you have to keep your table folded up all the time, you're not going to play as much as you think you will -- can be a hassle to set it up and take it down all the time. I like to keep mine set up all the time. This was the perfect solution. The great thing about this is that it's actually the correct dimensions of a regulation table, just scaled down. Super well-made and nice looking too. The legs are solid just like you'd find on bigger, more expensive tables. Never ordered anything this big from Amazon before... but super easy to set up out of the box. It will take you longer to get rid of all the packing material than it does to set it up and start playing. I agree with one reviewer on here that the net posts could be a little better quality. That said, I haven't had a problem with durability so far. If you're like me and like to leave your table up all the time -- it's the main feature of my rec room -- you will love this.

Beautiful table! We don't have room for a full size table in our loft, and this one is perfect. It feels just big enough that you're playing real table tennis. The table quality is legit, the only difference is the size. I'm a casual player and introducing my kids to the game, and they love it. It has reduced their "screen time" requests dramatically, at least for now. :) I wonder how it's going to feel when I play on a full size table again, and if fewer of my shots will be long off the table as this potentially shortens my game. After removing the net, it can be folded up and leaned against a wall or slid under a couch when necessary but we'll just be leaving it up. While blue is the more traditional color, I decided to go for brown - it's beautiful in person, feels a bit more elevated, and fits better with our loft design. When we first ordered the table, it was significantly damaged in shipping. I called Amazon support and they arranged for a return pickup at our house (it's heavy!) and had a new table delivered. The second one was perfect. We love it!

I bought this for a family Christmas gift and it fits easily in our basement family room. I love that it can be disassembled quickly and stored in a small space. The shipping box is quite heavy, but one person can easily maneuver the separated tables. The set-up is fast and easy. It plays well for 2 people but I think it would be crowded for doubles. I am not a table tennis pro, so I can only comment as a casual/beginner. I have concerns that the brackets/posts for the net might get bumped and twisted easily, but so far (one week), the quality is good. The whole family loves it and is playing. It's a mildly active indoor activity for the winter months, so this momma is thrilled. One corner of one table was a bit banged up upon arrival (but it's on the part that faces the middle). The outer corners have plastic protectors, which is a good thing. The shipping box also had a big gouge in it, but fortunately didn't go through to the table. There is no plastic or protective material between the cardboard shipping box and the table, which could be improved. There are also no rules with the table - I'll look online, but it would be nice if the manufacturer could throw in a couple page brochure on play rules. This was a bit of an impulse purchase for a good Amazon deal of the day, but I foresee we'll enjoy this table for years.

We have a few Stiga paddles and wanted to give a table a shot! This table exceeded our expectations, our kids love it too and will get games going without us! The green was an added perk with it being our son's favorite color! The quality is top notch from the table to the net and paddles we couldn't have asked for anything better! It is very compact and easy to store taking up very little room. We are able to set it up in under 5 minutes which is a huge win for us! Highly recommend especially with outdoor weather right around the corner. We can't wait to get this out on our patio when we have friends over or for family game night!
