  • Does the job, but very pricy!!!
I bought an acoustic guitar that someone had drilled out the end pin to install an electric pickup. This little pin installed pretty easily (I have a plethora of 1/4 extensions and loosened the D and G strings) but holy moly, $32???? Ouch. Anyway, three stars because of the expense. I would have given it five stars at a $10 price point. ... show more

  • An easy way to turn back the clock on your acoustic guitar
This device allowed me to get the maximum value selling my old acoustic guitar, since I decided to take out the electric pickup system and sell it separately. With me not being an actual luthier, this made the process of turning back the clock on my guitar much simpler, and the buyer was totally happy with the result, as was I. Depending on the hole you've got for your endpin jack, you might find this device fits too snug, or maybe too loose. In my case, it's a bit snug, so I used a rubber mallet to gently tap it into place before tightening the bolt inside it to secure it more permanently. If it were too loose (once it's tightened), I might have used a bit of gaff tape around the shaft to get it to sit just right. This is a great way to bypass having to rebuild the wood in the hole, and I'm grateful that these kinds of appliances have been developed in our time. ... show more

  • Too big, don’t fit LR Baggs hole
Just a heads up. I got this to fill the hole that was for an lr baggs anthem. It’s too big to fit in the hole and I don’t want to drill the hole bigger, in case I wanted to put the pickups back. It looks like it would work well on other pickup jacks that are a bit larger, and I don’t want to deal with returns so I will keep it for future projects. ... show more

  • Awful - doesn't fit in a standard endpin jack hole, it's too large.

  • Good product and a good answer to a problem.
Good product and a good answer to the problem of the large hole after removing the electronics jack. It would be better if the flange of the endpin was larger. The flange that rides right at the guitar body is 1/2”, the same size as the hole. It can and does tighten but the only thing holding the assembly in is the expansion of the sleeve in the hole which can loosen over time. I added a washer so the pin tightens up against the body. ... show more

  • Just what I needed!!!
Had a 2nd pickup in my Gibson J-45 removed and was left with a hole. I tried several different kinds of plugs but nothing would fit right. Bought this and it went in easily and does the job. I highly recommend this product.

  • Expensive shipping cost
Product worked as advertised. Installation was easy. Looks good, works fine. My only dislike would have to be the shipping cost making the total cost more expensive than it should be.
