Very happy about my purchase thus far. I prefer to find some deals for a little less in price but $100 still isn’t bad for solid shoes. They are a little awkward at first when getting used to walking in them due to the longer toe but have been sturdy thus far. Bought these for the return to work. Great looking shoe, 10/10 on looks. They took a day of wearing around the city to really break in, but after that they felt great. Walked all over the city with no pain or discomfort. But after about 2 weeks of daily wear, the sole has started to come unglued from the rest of the boot. I know boots don't last forever, but this seems like far too few wears to justify the cost. Moving forward, I will see if a cobbler can fix these and extend the life a bit, because the look and feel really are great. Long term, I will look for a similar shoe from a different designer that hopefully lasts. I would recommend anybody reading this to skip the cobbler route and just look for a similar boot from another manufacturer. ... show more

This is my second year in a row purchasing this particular boot. Last year, I bought them in the store and when fall came this year I knew I had to get them again. They are comfortable, stylish and the perfect size/weight. They are not too heavy and clunky and the zipper on the side makes it easy to slip them on, which is great because the height. Usually boots like these are made with such a point that if you're feet are not super narrow it is very uncomfortable. Very comfortable boot; although, the boot runs a little bigger than your shoe size. I got an 11 should’ve purchased a size 10.5. I just placed an inner sole inside. Nice fit.

Great quality, leather, everything you'd expect from Steve Madden. I have a pair of Steve Madden dress shoes and they're still my favorite dress shoes after 2yrs. The stitching is excellent, thick heel, and super comfortable. I also prefer leather to suede, pleather, or virtually any other material because you can polish and revitalize it. This is a great price for such a classy shoe. I got them for work (work in a corporate office) and only wear them to the office.
