I bought these because I thought they were softer material from the pics. Hazard of buying online. They were an unbeatable price. Maddens normally run a little more narrow so they always work for me. These look good and are made well. Works for me.

I received a size 10.5 but it looks more like 11.5, definitely runs large. I also thought they would look a little more worn and vintage like the product photos depicted. I will need to return.

These shoes are really nice and well made however they are very narrow so if you have a wide foot forget it. I even ordered the wide width in an 11. 1/2 for my husband which is his normal shoe size but he could not get his foot in them. Too bad because they are sharp looking!

This is my second pair of these shoes. The first I now use as my "kick around" shoes - and the soles are starting to separate. I'm not disappointed - they had miles on them. This new pair is a good-looking shoe and I find it to be comfortable. If you don't like a shoe around your ankle you may want to re-think, but I don't find it an issue. If you walk the streets of New York, you will see a lot of guys with these style shoes - and I am not a fashion-conscious person. ;) ... show more
