Excellent 5mm sterling silver snake chain. I was worried it might not be robust enough to hold the meteorite tag I have as it is very heavy but it works great! A very robust and well made chain. Additionally the class in the photo is not what comes with the 5mm chain, there’s actually a substantial clasp on it! I am very pleased with this chain and would recommend it to anyone looking for a thicker chain.

I bought this about eight months ago to use with a very special pendant that I received. It's very nice looking and comfortable to wear. It does tarnish a little with time, but it didn't turn black or anything. However, in the last couple of weeks, I've developed a pretty bad rash on the back of my neck, and there really isn't anything else that could have caused it. I suspect the chain is in fact silver-plated, and the plating has worn through. I tried replacing the clasp, just in case the clasp was not sterling silver, but the rash has continued. I took the necklace off (unwillingly, as the pendant as the remembrance of a lost loved one), and the itchiness immediately lessened and the rash is improving already. So it was a good chain for eight months, and then it revealed its true mettle.

• I purchased a 2.0 mm, 22" inch chain for my pendant. Perfect weight, perfect length when using the chain in conjunction with a men's pendant. • AS WITH ALL CHAINS AND PENDANTS, the most helpful photos are the one's utilizing a coin or something familiar to maximize a safe choice, and customer satisfaction. You have SO MANY chains and pendants to choose from, the sellers who take better photos are ahead • Unfortunately, 99% of jewelers/sellers DO NOT include any coin or reference item in the shot • Returning jewelry is cost prohibitive. I find myself stuck with my wrong purchase if I've ordered the wrong sterling silver, 925 silver chain or pendant and it's happened, time and again when I order for anyone else too, which DOUBLES my dissatisfaction • why do jewelry sellers need to be micromanaged about their photography? You would think the wisdom of better photography would be learned and used in the first 5 days of opening their business. Maybe it's because they do what they know, they know what they see, and they see other jewelry sellers NOT utilizing coins for better customer satisfaction and reducing the amount of customer complaints and the number of returns. Maybe it's because I'm the only one who makes online buying mistakes when ordering chains and pendants

Beautiful chain at a great price. Hard to tell if it’s a real precious metal, I’m no expert in metallurgy. Doesn’t leave a stain on my skin though, motion of the braid feels like a thin snake on my neck. Occasionally pulls my hairs, ce la vie.
