I ordered this for my granddaugher’s 2nd birthday. She loves to tinker with things—just like her daddy and her grandma. And wow! This sure comes with a lot of pieces for the price. I think it’s a very good value. She absolutely loves it! It is really very similar to a kid’s kitchen, except that it has tools instead of cooking supplies. It was not difficult to put together following the provided instructions. It comes with the screws needed for assembly. All you need is a Philips head screwdriver. The stickers really dress it up and are very sticky, so make sure you apply them carefully—they don’t come back off very easily. It comes with a built in table saw that has movement when you push it. I am very impressed with the battery-operated drill that comes with both a drill bit and a flat-head screwdriver tip. It operates forward and reverse! I’m also impressed with the LED light! The set also includes a hand saw, hammer, screwdriver, pliers, an adjustable wrench that really adjusts, a paint bucket, paint tray, two paint brushes, and we also received two paint rollers (I think it was supposed to come with one). The bird house is made of foam pieces that you put together like a puzzle. It changes color when “painted” with plain water which is very cool. It also comes with a spray bottle, and a lot of nuts and bolts. It has a pegboard with various hooks to hang the tools. My only complaint is that the photos show many different foam pieces stacked up on the shelves of the workbench, AND the assembled bird house. If you assemble the bird house with those foam pieces, there are no extra pieces for anything else. It’s a little misleading in the photos. A bit of caution is that if you have a climber, this will tip easily. The whole thing is very lightweight (so it’s easy to move around the room if you have a need). You may want to attach it to the wall. Also, if you have a biter, the foam birdhouse pieces are easily bitten into pieces. And there are lots of small pieces (like the nuts and bolts), so be carefully about the little ones who still put things in their mouths. Overall, this is a terrific set, great for hours of fun for boys OR GIRLS!! And a GREAT WAY for the kids to play with their own tools (safely) just like dad (or mom)—or in this case—just like grandma!!! I highly recommend this tool bench! Purchased for my 2 year old grandson who loves tools. Comes with lots of accessories. Easy to put together and pretty sturdy. His favorite thing is the birdhouse you “paint” with water. Immediately changes when wet. Brushes, roller and paint pail included. Only issue we had was with one of the drill bits that doesn’t fit the drill.     • Great imaginative play for 3yo
My almost 3yo loves to play with tools with daddy and a friend got him a tool box so we thought this would be a great gift and we were right. It’s light weight so easy to move to the garage when daddy is working on stuff and then back in the house so he can play pretend whenever he wants. He’s never been interested in cooking (even with me) so this was a good alternative to a play kitchen for imaginative play. For assembly I do recommend a drill since nothing is pre drilled and the indents are nearly nonexistent but it’s not required. A little muscle and a screwdriver would work too. Stickers *!#%* I hate them! Lol I am not good at placing them straight but my son didn’t notice. Just annoying to me. They also make it look a little cheaper than if it were printed on but it’s not bad enough that I wouldn’t purchase again. Over all a good purchase. ... show more
