  • Excellent, great glass for the money.
Style: 5-25x56mm SCR 34mm
Bought this a year ago to top off a TRG42. It has taken the recoil well, never lost a zero, even after a couple hard hits and drops. The reticle is one of the best general use reticles there is, and my personal favorite (bought an XTR with the same for other rifles). The clarity is as good as any except maybe a PMII or 624i, and the construction is better than I expected. The turret zero reference seemed kind of gimmicky at first, but it works and removes one more variable to worry about, so it grew on me. The one I received was new and tracked correctly as well. I have since upgraded others to Steiners as well, and knowing their warranty is as good as it is means I'm not afraid to use it as I please. Best money I've spent on glass to date. ... show more

  • amazing reticle, tactile turrets with smart window changing feature
Style: 5-25x56mm SCR 34mm
Just think about it, 5-25 magnification, 56mm objective lens, 34mm tube, clear as day glass, amazing reticle, tactile turrets with smart window changing feature, zero stop, zero rest, illumination, and it includes throw lever and flip up caps. You'd think were' talking an optic that's $3,000+ This thing totally competes with Nightforce's ATACR series, TANGO6, razor HDs, etc. for nearly half the cost. This makes hit's at 1,000 yards incredibly easy and clear with my rifle. You can see impact point on steel out to that range too which really speaks volumes for the quality of glass. Don't hesitate, do your self a favor and pick one up. ... show more

  • Well they all can’t be zingers
Style: 5-25x56mm SCR 34mm
So I bought this scope because I have the same one I bought here on another rifle. I have complaints but for the most part it was worth the cheaper than retail price. The second one I bought was a complete letdown that I had to return. The tracking was terrible!! Mounted on a 22LR and sighted in at 50 yards. Dialed it out to 100 yards and it was hitting .3 mils low. So I brought it back to 50 yards and it was hitting the same .3 mile low. I re-zeroed the back to 100 yards. It was shooting .3 mils high. I chased it back and forth for 150 rounds and then decided to send it back. You win some you lose some. ... show more

  • Awesome Scope
Style: 3-15X50mm SCR 34mm
I put this scope on top of my model 700 Sendero 7mm STW and love it so far . I am learning how to adjust the scope since it is MEAD and not MOA . Excellent glass, and excellent all around !

  • the T5-Xi in 5-25 x 56mm and (my hands down favorite of which I own two) the 3-15 x 50mm ...
Style: 5-25x56mm SCR 34mm
As the owner of a dozen or more upper tier 2 and a few tier 1 optics, the T5-Xi in 5-25 x 56mm and (my hands down favorite of which I own two) the 3-15 x 50mm version are of ultimate quality and reliability. Glass is utterly amazing, but the accuracy of tracking is dead-on reliable 100% of be time. I have thousands of firing solutions through the three Steiners I mentioned. The 3-15 x 50mm has a ridiculous amount of elevation adjustment, with a 20 MOA base I have 23.3 usable mils as arranged on a .338 Lapua Magnum. The reticle is uncluttered and perfectly etched and clear, even at the lowest and highest magnification values and the illumination is plenty bright for mid-day use (if that’s even an issue for most...) and has ample range of adjustment to never flood out the tube at low light. They are heavy, but with the build quality and ruggedness of 34mm main tubes, I’ll take their weight with a smile. Overall, $1,500-$2,200 for an optic is a y’all order for most, but for the guy hesitant to dive in to this caliber equipment, you get what you pay for. Making the decision to spend and extra few hundred bucks will spare you the misery of a $1,000 mistake...or two! I want two more in fact. ... show more

  • Disappointed
Style: 5-25x56mm SCR 34mm
Scope was listed as new and I open the box and find out that it is far from new. It’s clearly been mounted on a rifle and was used for quite some time. Between the scope caps being just about worn out, the obvious ring marks where it was mounted, the scuffed off paint, scratches, sand in the diopter locking ring threads, and the list could go on. So I try and get a replacement so that hopefully it would get here in time for a shoot over the weekend and no luck. So I call and get a helpful lady by the name of Akua, she did her best to help but could not get me a replacement either. So my options were return it and order it again and hope for better results or get a discount. I reluctantly took the discount due to my bind needing the scope for this weekend. Even though after the discount it’s more than the scope is worth in this shape. Then went and bought a battery for it (because it didn’t come with one which I assume it probably does if it’s actually new) and used the illumination settings and even on 11 which is it’s highest setting it barely illuminates, thought maybe I’d better go get a different brand of cr2450 before I lose my cool and still the same. This is my first review I’ve ever written and I’ve been a prime member for a long time. The whole situation has just been awful. Don’t make my mistake Buy it directly from optics planet or go to a store and buy it in person. ... show more
