  • Bed rails
Bed side rails very nice Well made would purchase again.

  • Great Rails but not for every bed!
Bed rails are of great workmanship. Universal fit except for custom beds, example crib conversions appear to use a smaller rail lock for their headboards. We bought these for a toddler to full size conversion. The rails were to big to fit and slip not place. But we had and older headboard and standard foot board for a twin set and they fit perfectly as our originals were lost in moving at some point. The only con is the steel rod hooks included which appear to be for slat substitution. They do not fit the rails in twin or full configuration and there is no packing sheet to explain their inclusion. Except for this the product is Great! ... show more

  • Disappointed...
I don't know how well this product works. I was excited to get my three year old out of her crib and put her in a big girl bed. When I received the rails, I was so excited, I started taking the crib apart. When I got to the rails, the first one went in just fine. The second one however, was a different story. One of the brackets had been installed backwards AND the slats themselves were so bent, even if it hadn't been backwards, I would not have been able to install the rail. I was extremely disappointed, but it was super easy to return the item. The disappointing part about that is that now I have a dismantled crib, a mattress on the floor and no rails to put it on. I would hope that Amazon would be kind enough to rush my order, but since this was such a huge waste of time and inconvenience, but that was not the case. Hence the single star. :-( ... show more

  • Easy enough to fix but a little disappointing
These rails work well. They did require a few raps with a hammer to straighten out the hooks. Some were bent, as was the connection between the hooks and rails on one side. Easy enough to fix but a little disappointing. The shipping was quick and the rails look fine on the bed.

  • Sturdy!
Our bed rail were wood and handmade. Were a little too short for the box spring. I bought this and it is study and allows room for the box spring I bought of Amazon.

  • A little info would have been good to have
These rails were exactly what we ordered and worked well. There were four long wires with hooked ends included, in two different lengths. Since there was no information in the package, I assumed they were designed to go between holes in the rails to keep the rails from bowing out after they were installed. I believe the two different lengths were for either twin bed or full bed, leaving me with two stiff wires I have no use for. A little info would have been good to have. Otherwise, great product and exactly what we needed. ... show more

  • These rails seem sturdy and installed easily.
We have an old full size hook rail bed on wnich our inlaws had used a queen bedrail conversion. We needed a regular full size and found this. It was delivered in two days! No problem with shipping damage. The rails hooked on easily; I also added one 1.5 inch number 12 stainless screw on each post. (You could use two on each.) Our bed was too wide, 55", for the boxspring to sit on the rails so I cut and painted 5 cross rails from 1 by 4 by 6 foot pine boards. At Home Depot these cost about $25. I fixed them to the rails with 1.5 inch flat head bolts with nuts and lockwashers. I'll recycle the two heavy duty wires that were supplied which were of little use. The bed seems very solid with the mattress and box spring on it. You must affix the cross boards with bolts in a case like mine. I say this because our box spring is narrower than the rails and if you rely on gravity alone to keep the cross pieces in place they will likely shift out of place over time. 10 bolts is cheap insurance they stay in place. I'm happy. If we have problems I'll report them. ... show more

  • Built too light.
I lost my original rails in a move and these fit nicely. They are built too light and bow outwards when under weight. I have had to use a strap to keep the center from spreading too much.
