    • They are bed rails
Came wrapped in plastic wrap. No problem with that. However, the ends of the rails were not protected at all and were consequently bent during transit. I got them usable with pliers, vice grips, and a hammer. So, they were exactly what I needed but still irritating.

    • These rails seem sturdy and installed easily.
We have an old full size hook rail bed on wnich our inlaws had used a queen bedrail conversion. We needed a regular full size and found this. It was delivered in two days! No problem with shipping damage. The rails hooked on easily; I also added one 1.5 inch number 12 stainless screw on each post. (You could use two on each.) Our bed was too wide, 55", for the boxspring to sit on the rails so I cut and painted 5 cross rails from 1 by 4 by 6 foot pine boards. At Home Depot these cost about $25. I fixed them to the rails with 1.5 inch flat head bolts with nuts and lockwashers. I'll recycle the two heavy duty wires that were supplied which were of little use. The bed seems very solid with the mattress and box spring on it. You must affix the cross boards with bolts in a case like mine. I say this because our box spring is narrower than the rails and if you rely on gravity alone to keep the cross pieces in place they will likely shift out of place over time. 10 bolts is cheap insurance they stay in place. I'm happy. If we have problems I'll report them. ... show more

Bought this item as condition “NEW”. Just arrived today and when I opened the box, I was met with super scratch bubbles up rails. The box was intact and not damaged. Item looks structurally sounds but, not happy about the paint.

I've been searching for this kind of bed rail and yes its $10 more than Walmart (Walmart was out of stock) but they arrived in less than a week and I set it up by myself without my boyfriends help. They were boxed so they arrived in perfect condition... I would definitely purchase again if I ever needed another set. And yes the 2 metal pieces crisscross to fit. ... show more

Bought these to go with a rice bed I bought that was advertised as a FULL size. Much to my dismay the bed came with rails for a Queen sized bed which was too long for my full sized bed.. So glad these were available! They were a perfect fit, arrived on time and were not bent as other customers have experienced. My sister and I tried to figure out the purpose of the flimsy silver rods it came with. They don't attach to anything, and are definitely NOT a substitute for bars or extra boxspring support. I was lucky to have had bars that fit from my old rolling metal bed frame. I wish they would have come with their own. ... show more

    • Rails were great. Enclosed wires were puzzling.
The rails were perfect. In the package, however, were 4 wires (2 each of different lengths). We assumed they were to hook into pre-drilled holes in the side rails but they couldn't fit any of the holes: if placed straight from rail to rail they were too long and if they were placed at an angle they were too short. (We assume the different lengths were meant to accommodate a twin or a full size bed.) There were no instructions for the wires so we didn't do anything with them; we used 1 x 4 bed slats instead. ... show more
