Product is great! Searched high and low for a binder mechanism replacement on Etsy but none would fit the LV MM agenda cousin. The process took less than 10 minutes and I didn’t have to puncture any holes, which I absolutely did not want to do. I followed the video down to a tee. The only difference was I put the spine and post in together. Make sure you measure the distance between the old post hole and the new post. For me it was about one inch both directions. When I was done with that, I placed the rings on top to ensure everything would be straight. When I was good, I did the last 2 steps. Do note, the gold is lighter than the original rings. It’s also a bit difficult to open but it works. As everyone else said, it does scratch easily so be careful when screwing it in. I would recommend getting your own screwdriver. Overall, it’s a great product for the price until I decide to upgrade. It’s a lot cheaper than what I would’ve paid for shipping and the product on Etsy.

I used this in my LV agenda that came with a very small binder and I found that replacing. It was super easy with the instructions and it made my binder much more user-friendly and I’m able to put more in it.

This is just what I needed for a binder ring that I got in a monthly box subscription that broke - the binder itself was about an A5 size exactly , so I knew A5 rings wouldn’t fit as they would be too large ( you need a binder larger than the actual a5 to fit the a5 rings in it ). The rings originally on this binder looked oddly small for it , but I went with personal size and I’m glad I did . It was a perfect fit! I didn’t need all the extra parts , and this ring kit is quite expensive, but I could see why since it comes with so much , including tools . The hardest part was getting the rings off that were already on it . The Husband did it all and it came out great . I’ll try to include a picture if I can . The only problem was that the rings came a little chipped where the gold is . Not too much of a problem since these are for sticker storage - had it been for my actual planner binder I would have been perturbed by this . Arrived quickly and was packaged well . I would buy it again .

Recently I created a leather journal and needed binder rings that were bigger, for more storage. I liked the idea of the kit because it comes with everything you need, sans a hammer (which I already owned). I received the package promptly, but it was missing the punch. I contacted the seller, they apologized and were kind enough to mail me the punch. Now the full review: Pros: After using the binder for over a month - it holds up pretty well and holds a lot of papers. I also like the look of it; the copper color is not too orange or too yellow. The kit was really easy to use and probably would have been easier if I had the punch; I ended up using an ice pick and scissors. The kit comes with binder plastic that you can also use a template, a piece of vinyl to overlay over the binder piece, a hand drill, leather punch (like I said above, mine came without this piece), screws in two lengths with screw posts and the binder rings. The instructions were on the side of the box, but fairly simple to follow. I used the longer screws with posts because the leather I was working with was much thicker than the smaller screws could handle. I would say the 8mm screws are probably best for plastic or thin vinyl notebooks, were the 10mm screws for thicker materials. Customer service was fairly decent, I appreciate that they sent me the punch when I alerted them to it's absence. The Cons: The side flippers on the binder ring have never worked- pressing them will not open the rings. To me, this isn't a huge deal as I can just open and close the binder, by tugging on the rings. If you are a hard core stickler for using the binder latches, you might not like this kit. Over all: I would buy the kit again. I have several more notebook projects I want to work on and will probably be buying this kit again because of the ease of use.

This product did exactly what I wanted it to do. It increased the capacity of my A5 Filofax. When my old rings were stretched because they were too small I was worried I would have to buy a new Filofax. Instead, I got this product and it works like a charm. Unfortunately one of the screws was not tightening all the way, so I contacted the seller and asked for a replacement. They said no problem, and sent me six replacement screws. Top notch product and business model, thank you so much.

pro: I bought these rings to insert into a half disc leather cover because i've been hating the disks. I did not find these rings in black which i really wanted, so i purchased the rose gold and spray painted them black. the amazon video was genius and very laymen's to install. It helps that i've been handy my entire life, so it truly was a cinch. I am so excited that this worked out, I haven't been able to use my planner in almost a year and was unwilling to part with it as it was over $125.00 (eye roll). con: measure and re-measure where you're going to install the rings if you're installing them into a system that did not have rings prior. that is my only gripe that i only checked a couple of times. I should have been more anal and strategic in my placement, but that's no dig at the product, simple human error. (shrugs)
