Product is great! Searched high and low for a binder mechanism replacement on Etsy but none would fit the LV MM agenda cousin. The process took less than 10 minutes and I didn’t have to puncture any holes, which I absolutely did not want to do. I followed the video down to a tee. The only difference was I put the spine and post in together. Make sure you measure the distance between the old post hole and the new post. For me it was about one inch both directions. When I was done with that, I placed the rings on top to ensure everything would be straight. When I was good, I did the last 2 steps. Do note, the gold is lighter than the original rings. It’s also a bit difficult to open but it works. As everyone else said, it does scratch easily so be careful when screwing it in. I would recommend getting your own screwdriver. Overall, it’s a great product for the price until I decide to upgrade. It’s a lot cheaper than what I would’ve paid for shipping and the product on Etsy.

I used these to convert a Sophie traveler's notebook to a ring planner. It was very easy and I didn't have to make any holes in my planner. Just pull all the elastics inside the rings, hooking the innermost ones between the tabs at the ends and the main ring spine (see photo). It is very secure, and I never had to use any of the other items in the kit. The only drawback was the slight orange cast to the rose gold. I would buy the silver if I had it to do again, and also buy smaller rings. The rings make the paper a little wide, but I easily cut them down. I am thrilled with this easy conversion. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this based off the reviewer that modified her LV planner. She was right this was the easiest modification ever. I pushed the pin through the outside like she did (I loved the little circle look on the outside of the planner). It holds triple the amount of what it did before. Rings are tight Very happy

I have a Louis Vuitton mm / medium agenda and i ordered the personal size 6 ring replacement yesterday and received today. It was a easy process if you plan it out before so you won't damage your agenda. I didn't punch holes through like some reviews because you'll see the gold screws on the outside. So instead I flipped the plastic spine adhesive side down in the slit i made in the binding and use the longest screw that came with the kit and the put the black strip adhensive side down and screwed it all together and it worked out perfectly, and you can't even noticed. Its in there really good.

Recently I created a leather journal and needed binder rings that were bigger, for more storage. I liked the idea of the kit because it comes with everything you need, sans a hammer (which I already owned). I received the package promptly, but it was missing the punch. I contacted the seller, they apologized and were kind enough to mail me the punch. Now the full review: Pros: After using the binder for over a month - it holds up pretty well and holds a lot of papers. I also like the look of it; the copper color is not too orange or too yellow. The kit was really easy to use and probably would have been easier if I had the punch; I ended up using an ice pick and scissors. The kit comes with binder plastic that you can also use a template, a piece of vinyl to overlay over the binder piece, a hand drill, leather punch (like I said above, mine came without this piece), screws in two lengths with screw posts and the binder rings. The instructions were on the side of the box, but fairly simple to follow. I used the longer screws with posts because the leather I was working with was much thicker than the smaller screws could handle. I would say the 8mm screws are probably best for plastic or thin vinyl notebooks, were the 10mm screws for thicker materials. Customer service was fairly decent, I appreciate that they sent me the punch when I alerted them to it's absence. The Cons: The side flippers on the binder ring have never worked- pressing them will not open the rings. To me, this isn't a huge deal as I can just open and close the binder, by tugging on the rings. If you are a hard core stickler for using the binder latches, you might not like this kit. Over all: I would buy the kit again. I have several more notebook projects I want to work on and will probably be buying this kit again because of the ease of use.

Only took 5 minutes to replace! I added the gold rings to a Moterm Lux personal size. I was hoping to use the advice of a previous reviewer who did not want holes through the back. Luckily, all I had to do was unscrew the old fasteners, replace the gold rings, and screw on the new fasteners. I will say they are smaller than the original rings that came with the planner (as pictured) but I can go back to the old if needed.
