The media could not be loaded. Works best on flat ground. We had no issues. The kids had a blast. We put soap on it too. We went so fast we slid off the end. The water spray was consistent and there was a lot.

Not a bad slip and slide for what it is. Bottom plastic quality is plenty thick enough not to rip on the grass. The provided plastic stakes more than hold the weight of the slide in place with 2 toddlers going down it nonstop. Slide itself is pretty long, and gets you a good speed with some soap for lubrication. I will say the only issue I have knocking it a star is that while there are plenty of water spout holes in the middle, they don't all spray the water on the plastic, some shoot off into the grass which is a waste. Other than that, I dont have any complaints about it. Definitely works as it should, my daughter had a blast!

There aren't a lot of frills to this, it's a length of slippery plastic that you can attach a hose to, causing the center piece to become pressurized with water so that the little pinholes spray along both sides. This keeps it pretty well covered in water along its length, so that you can slide along it with sufficient momentum. To wit, it provides a slip-n-slide experience such as you may remember as a kid, for the most part. The addition of the pinholes helps keep it well-coated with water all along it, as noted, which is an improvement over the barest bones version. Water can still accumulate in spots, if your lawn isn't perfectly level / the grass causes it to not rest perfectly level, but in practice this may be as much a benefit as anything. It comes with some plastic stakes that you can (and really must) use to keep it pinned down, so it doesn't shift around or bunch up when using it. My 4 and 6 year olds couldn't get enough momentum up to go down the whole thing, unless I went with them and held their hand, slinging them along to give them a boost. It's possible other kids of similar mass would fare better, they just gotta be willing to commit to the dive better than mine have been, so far. Still, they had fun, even if they'd have liked more immediate gratification. It will build their character, I imagine, working to develop this valuable skill.
