The wide anti- hydroplane grooves on each side help flush out the water from the tire, which improves wet traction and resistance to hydroplanning. Wet and snow traction is strengthened by full-depth biting edges or "all-season sipes". The quiet Zig-Zag pattern disrupts air flow through the tread which reduces noise for a quiet ride.
